Sorry I could not attend the celebration for 100 years of MHS basketball. Starting with Bud Parsons in the early 1940s. the Parsons/VanVoorhis family has had letter earnings including Rusty and Lindsay VanVoorhis, Dick, Jim, Andy and Whitney and Elisabeth Parsons through the 60s and 90s! I treasure the years I played in 1972 through 1974 and am happy to say we never lost a game to UHS for the three years I played. Go MHS

Our Annual WYBT Holiday & Makahiki Hou 2011, just finished and it went fantastic.
We are writing you from the Big Island of Hawaii, Kailua-Kona side.
Make 2012 the year of Hawaiian memories! We have our Summer Tournaments: 7/21/12-7/25/12 and our 14th Annual World Youth Basketball Tournament 8/1/12 - 8/5/12.
We already have Australia & Guam registered for our Winter Tournaments hosted by Kealakehe High School, 12/18/12- 12/22/12, and also 12/27/12 - 12/31/12.
The experience is highly cultural as well as all types of competitiveness.

I an a Parkersburg South fan and sat in same section at the South game with the varsity during the JV game and later with the JV's during the varsity game and wish to make a comment on them . You should be very proud of these young men, the were very much gentlemen. We talked of their bus excursion into the Rt. 50 median, their basketball season,etc. Please relay my feelings to them and wish them all the best.

Another great year for the Mohigan program because more Mohigan players will recieive scholarships to play college basketball. That's how you should measure the success of a coach and his program not by wins or losses. We are lucky to have coaches like our coaches. Congratulations on another great season and another trip to the state tournament!!!!

I miss Morgantown athletics. Lived in Motgantown until late 1979. Played all sports at Suncrest Jr. High back then. Go Mohigans and Mountaineers!!!
