What an Awesome God, The Great I Am, truly is. He prepared a natural land bridge from the Egyptian side of the Red Sea over to the Saudi side over which Moses led the Children of Israel. Their numbers were in the thousands so you can imagine the kind of crossing it must have taken. The Land Bridge is between 7 and 10 miles from one side to the other. It is about 1 mile wide which allowed the Israelites to travel quickly. It is flat with a slight upward turn on both sides.
The waters on the north side of this natural land bridge is 3,000 ft. deep and on the southern side, it is 5,000 ft. deep.
When Israel's God brought in the strong wind, it parted the waters to reveal this natural Land Bridge.
This model here can give you an idea of how it is would look. There is no doubt about this place since deep sea divers have found the Egyptian chariot wheels, skeletons remains of horses and men which are seen at the bottom of the Sea.

Take a look at this whole link and then reconsider the false tales that are told by the Catholic Church that Moses led his people through a shallow Reed Sea, then traveled down through the whole of the Sinai Desert of Egypt when that is just not the case at all. Moses headed straight East from The Land of Goshen. As a Egyptian military leader, he knew exactly the routes needed for a quick exodus. But...God caused Moses to make a sharp southern turn through a Wadi, instead of taking the easy, shorter northern way all the way across, then up near Eliat, which is the northern port of the Red Sea/Gulf of Aquaba. .
Once in that Wadi, he could not leave because of high cliffs on both sides but was forced to keep heading toward the Red Sea also known as the Gulf of Aquaba. The miracle is that they were hemmed in by the Egyptians and the Water yet Yahuah had it all prepared ahead of time to save His people.

Finally Moses arrived at a huge Peninsula known as Nuweiba Beach where the people congregated in fear. That beach is so large that it is easily seen by satellite on the maps.

When The Great I Am says He will make a Way, He means exactly that. He caused the winds to blow all night long, drying out the natural Land Bridge prepared for this Exodus. The people were nearly all the way on the other side when the Egyptian army proceeded to follow them down this Land bridge and where they all drown when the waters joined back together again.
