This video posted at the time it was published on this site back in February 2013 adds to the reason why God chose to change the Jewish New Year from Tishri to Nissan.

Tishri (Fall...Sept/Oct) was the month of the birth of Creation which was in effect until the coming event that brought the promised Messiah. It was then the Year's Calendar was changed to start in Nissan (Spring..March/April).

While many of us believed Jesus was born in the Fall when the Sheep were still in the fields, a very good case was presented that it was in the Spring when the Lamb of God was born. It was the only time, when the Shepherds had to be in the field to tend to the birthing; to watch over them when the predators would be also watching.

The bottom line is that, even though some of us believed He was born in the Fall, we did not acknowledge Dec. 25th as His birth, which the Rabbi, clearly says was a pagan time that was celebrated by the those that worshiped the Sun god.

I hope this video will finally convince the Christmas followers that God has no joy in this festival put upon the world by the Roman Empire.

He has His Festivals that He instituted and performs His prophetic events according to His Calendar NOT the Gregorian Calendar.
