And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Rev. 22:19 (KJV)

This could be done by denying, or explaining away the words of prophecy. To do either is a deadly sin. To tamper with the Divine word in any way, IS SINFUL .

Although the warning in Revelation 22:18-19 applies specifically to the Book of Revelation, its principle must be applied to the entire revealed Word of God. We must be careful to handle the Bible with care and reverence so as to not distort its message.


Moses gave a similar warning in Deuteronomy 4:1-2, where he cautioned the Israelites that they must listen to and obey the commandments of the Lord, neither adding to nor taking away from His revealed Word.

Proverbs 30:5-6 contains a similar admonition to anyone who would add to God’s words: he will be rebuked and proven to be a liar.

The Septuagint (also known as the LXX) is a translation of the Hebrew Bible into the Greek language. The name “Septuagint” comes from the Latin word for seventy. The tradition is that 70 (or 72) Jewish scholars were the translators behind the Septuagint.

By the 2nd and 1st centuries B.C., most people in Israel spoke Greek as their primary language. That is why the effort was made to translate the Hebrew Bible into Greek – so that those who did not understand Hebrew could have the Scriptures in a language they could understand.

The Septuagint represents the first major effort at translating a significant religious text from one language into another.

The word apocrypha means “hidden,” while the word deuterocanonical means “second canon.” The Apocrypha / Deuterocanonicals were written primarily in the time between the Old and New Testaments, as well as additions to the books of Esther and Daniel. The books are named: 1 Esdras, 2 Esdras, Tobit, Judith, Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, the Letter of Jeremiah, Prayer of Manasseh, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees.

Take for example Esdras . How few of us even realzie that this is the same as Ezra who is in the Bible that we know today as the 1611 JKV. Here is an example of why it made it difficult for there to be a concensus to the books written by Esdras/Ezra: Second Esdras is also known by many other names, making it difficult to track fully.

For example, 2 Esdras contains portions known in some circles as 3 Ezra, 4 Ezra, 5 Ezra, and 6 Ezra. The Ethiopian Church considers 4 Ezra to be canonical, whereas the Eastern Armenian Church labels it as 3 Ezra)

Should the fact that there are difficulties among the various groups as to how to number them be the excuse needed to exclude them from Scripture? Absolutely not.

Another example is Jasher; also known as the “Book of the Upright One” in the Greek Septuagint and the “Book of the Just Ones” in the Latin Vulgate, the Book of Jasher was probably a collection or compilation of ancient Hebrew songs and poems praising the heroes of Israel and their exploits in battle.

The Book of Jasher is mentioned in Joshua 10:12-13 when the Lord stopped the sun in the middle of the day during the battle of Beth Horon. It is also mentioned in 2 Samuel 1:18-27 as containing the Song or Lament of the Bow, that mournful funeral song which David composed at the time of the death of Saul and Jonathan .

The first “canon” was the Muratorian Canon, which was compiled in A.D. 170. The Muratorian Canon included all of the New Testament books except Hebrews, James, and 3 John. In A.D. 363, the Council of Laodicea stated that only the Old Testament (along with the Apocrypha) and the 27 books of the New Testament were to be read in the churches. The Council of Hippo (A.D. 393) and the Council of Carthage (A.D. 397) also affirmed the same 27 books as authoritative.

It was a standard Jewish version of the Old Testament, used by the writers of the New Testament, as is evidenced by the fact that Old Testament references found in the New Testament refer to the Septuagint over other versions of the Old Testament.

Let me reiterate: the then 300+ year old Septuagint version of Scripture was good enough for Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul, etc., which is evident in their referencing it over 300 times (out of 350 Old Testament references!) in their New Testament writings -- and the Septuagint includes 7 books and parts of Esther and Daniel that were removed from Protestant Bibles some 1,500 years after the birth of Christ.

Bottom line: the Septuagint was the version of the Old Testament accepted by the very earliest Christians (and, yes, those 7 "extra" books were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls which date between 168 B.C. And A.D. 68, and which by the way, support both the Septuagint and the 6th - 10th c. A.D. Masoretic texts in various ways, but supporting the Septuagint on average.

So.....what was the problem or reason for it's removal? The Jewish Rabbis were appalled at the huge numbers of people (mostly Jews) that were converting to the Gospel preached by the Lord Jesus Christ through the preaching by the 70 (some say 72) disciples that went out into the world. The move was made to remove the Septuagint from the Jewish teachings and to stick only to the Torah, Traditional Books and Oral teachings of the Rabbis that included it's many Babylonian fallacies.

Martin Luther made moves to remove some of the Books that were still included because he felt that they backed up too much of the Catholic teachings. Soon, the Vatican, itself, began to make changes that decreased the sole working power of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself....Salvation by Grace alone.

And last but not least, it is a well known fact that prior to 1611 KJV, the Books of the Apocrypha were reserved within the pages of the Bible.

With each translation, the Word was made weaker as man's traditions became stronger.

I believe, God's Word has always been true, been there to be known and now, that we are in the End of Days, things kept secret for one reason or another, are no longer secret but being made available for us to read and study, just as promised to Daniel: they would be opened up to the End Generation. Trust in the Holy Spirit to reveal all truth to you. Do NOT THINK YOU HAVE ALL TRUTH now. If all that was spoke by the Lord and His Prophets were to be made known, not enough books could contain it all.

Most important since this command is located near end of the Bible, it’s one that sticks to you to obey; it gives off a very important spiritual closing!!!

1. The Book of Enoch (which have been authenticated by II Peter and Jude)
2. The Book of Jubilees (This is similar to the Book of Genesis)
3. The Book of Jasher
4. The First Book of Adam and Eve
5. The Second Book of Adam and Eve
6. The Book of Esdras

Some of these books were in the original King James that had 80 books included, not 66 .

All of these books have been posted on this site by Steven plus so much more. And a Proverb that applies to this is Proverbs 25:2

"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter."

This is not Fairytales but the very Biblical History of which Fairytales have been written.

Needs to investigated.

More and more as we hear that the existence of ET are really here; PLEASE CONSIDER WHY THE MANY BOOKS THAT SPOKE ABOUT THESE FALLEN ONES WERE KEPT OUT OF THE BIBLE.

You can expect the POPE to make an announcement soon; perhaps at the United Nations. If not him, then someone else in high standing.

Also, what there is told about them and their off-spring in the Bible has been down-played so the average Christian has no idea who these "demons" are that walk among the living seeing who they can infiltrate next and then invite seven more to live inside a Host Body with him.
