For the critic of Bible Codes, I am reminded of what Yacov Rambsel, one of the first Code Breakers, using only his own ability to count and read the Bible, had to say:

There are 4 levels of information contained within the Scriptures:

1. Simple
2. Practical
3. Prophetic
4. Secret

The Bible says for us to get beyond the milk and seek the meat of the Word. Here is what Yacov found in Genesis 1:1, taking the 1st word and counting every 17th letter; he found "Created". Six separate times this is found. It truly lays the foundation. Incidentally, the 17th letter of Hebrew is ayin, which means, "spiritual Insight" .

In the last 8 verses of Genesis are found these 17 terms:

1. Jehovah
2. Light Ordained
3. Created
4. The Blood
5. The Truth
6. The Ark
7. The Temple
8. Man rescued
9. In the Light
10 Rapture
11 Mantle of Glory
12 The Dominion
13 Their Pillar
14 Inscribed
15 The created - Innocent man
16 God Heals
17 Praise Him

When we become Believers, we begin to read the Word of God in a simple faith trying to understand it. As time goes on it becomes a practical thing where we can say this or that is found here or there.

Then we graduate to a desire for the Prophetic teachings and find that God has a clear plan for man based upon His Feasts that He gave to the Children of Israel. To understand the Feasts and what the rituals represent is to understand the plan that God has laid out for us.

For instance, it is very clear that Passover points to the sacrifice of the Lamb. Jesus fulfilled this when He became our Sacrificial Lamb. The next feast of Unleavened Bread points to His Burial. He arose on the Sabbath of the Lord, which was followed by First Fruits, which is the very day that Jesus Christ, as the High Priest, officiated in presenting Himself, the Single Barley Loaf, to the Father, as the First of Dead to arise to Everlasting Life.

Next comes Passover when the Holy Spirit was poured down upon the Eccelsia, which is made up of Spiritual Israel and the Gentiles grafted into the Root, Jesus Christ.

The final three point to Israel and God's redemptive plan for them.

In Revelation, John sees the ritual of Rosh-Hashanah being played out. Yom Kippur is Israel's High Holy Day of seeking forgiveness and this comes next. The Jews, who have yet not met their Messiah, will cry out to Him. They will seek Him, saying, "Blessed is He That Comes in the Name of the Lord". The Last Feast is when Jesus presents Himself as the "Living Tabernacle" .

When someone doubts His Word and makes a remark such as, "You can't believe the Bible; it was just written by a bunch of men", you know they have not gotten beyond the simple. The Word of God is just that, His Word and to call it simple is a clear under-statement. It is a deep book of many levels that only the God of the Universe could have so lovingly and beautifully meshed together. When one sincerely wants to know more of His Word, He is so faithful to make it known. The more one learns, the more one wants to learn.

For the critic that doubts God's Word, I would like to refer to "The Suffering Servant" passage of Isaiah 53:5, where we read: "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed."

Encoded with these scriptures every 20th letter is JESUS IS MY NAME. When the critics countered by saying YESHUA (the Hebrew name for Jesus) simply and literally means "salvation", be sure to tell them that, also was found "Nazareth" in the very same chapter along with seventy-four of the names, places, and events of the time period of Jesus of Nazareth.

The critics now are silent and simply refuse to discuss this passage. However, many scholars at the Hebrew University, who formerly denied that this passage in Isaiah pointed to the Messiah, now have become Believers.

Thankfully, people are much more informed than they used to be and hopefully, we all grow in knowledge of the Word of God as we strive to have closer walk with Him. He is full of surprises.
