House Panel Urges Prosecution for Ex-IRS Official
By a vote of 23-14 along party lines, the Republican-led Ways and Means Committee referred Lois Lerner to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution. The request was submitted in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder.

The U.S. Geological Survey says another earthquake has struck the Langston area - this time, a preliminary 3.1-magnitude quake on Tuesday night. A day earlier, a magnitude-4.0 earthquake also struck near Langston, and the quake was felt widely in central Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City area.
