McCanney thinks Yellowstone is dangerous. He has proposed a way to tame it, that is, to drain Yellowstone lake so that water would not fall down into the core where the magma is. This could make the volcano more like Hawaiian volcanoes, with lava just flowing out onto the surface (not as harmful as the explosive ash blown skyward). He says there is a natural low point at the SE corner of Yellowstone Lake, a good place go drain.

Also he would like to divert the Mississippi River to California to not waste water flowing into the Gulf. He said this would be relatively easy. We are going to be lacking food products from California because of the drought.

He is not impressed with the lineup of Mars-Earth-Sun, which he says will have no effect physically on the earth.
He says if scientists really LED and gave us real facts about what it going on, we would not believe such things as the effect of Mars-Earth-Venus lining up.

Bottom line is that he considers Yellowstone to be a real danger (as do other scientists) and that it would be the extinction of life on earth if it blows fully. Stan Deyo has said that it might not blow as fully as in the past, perhaps being a smaller and less destructive blow, but Stan says Yellowstone (and my home and Stan's home) are on the edge of the North American "craton", the oldest land in the continent. Everything on the edge or off the edge is less stable than what is ON the craton. You can find pics of the craton on Standeyo.com.
