He says "what have we got to lose" by declaring the End has come--they already think we're crazy. Well, we do have some worldly things to lose. Pastor Farag has nothing to lose, as he is a pastor of people who agree with him. But others, in business or in social settings, have much to lose. Money, for instance. Friendships, maybe almost all friendships which they have had, as irv and I lost thirty or so years ago when we left our pagan "Unitarian Church". We lost our entire social network. I had already lost the respect of my parents, and hence was disowned. We never built up a lasting social network again, as we had to move about the country due to exigencies. I have lost the respect of my son. Perhaps he has a grudging respect that I don't "give up" and join the pagans. But basically I lost everything except subsistence.

I bring my own experience into this not to boast but simply to say I have experienced how much you can lose. And we lost it thirty years ago. What if the rapture is 30 years from now, and someone who listens to him gives up everything because they believed it is the End, and they are wrong? In eternal terms, they gain. Now, they hurt, are disillusioned.

It is to these people, the ones asking "the End" questions now, that the emergent mega churches speak. They say we can have comfort, wealth, happiness now, and it is not yet the End. We can have social respect and have Obama and McCain come to our churches, or be invited to the White House. Because we expect the world to get better, we think we can contribute to it getting better, and that is what is socially acceptable, that is what makes money through advertising hope and joy if you "buy my product".

I have liked Pastor Farag's messages but this one now does not impress. I am not a pastor living with many supporters and friends in beautiful Hawaii. I live at Ground Zero, which is being destroyed.

I stopped posting Pastor JD Farag videos on this site because HE teaches a false doctrine. 7 Year pre tribulation rapture I tried very politely to share some scriptural evidence but HE had had his youtube site computer tech BLOCK me from trying to share some biblical points with him.



I'm sorry that people are being deceived and HURT by his UNSOUND DOCTRINE.


I pray for him to have the scales removed from his eyes and that he would preach the truth about the rapture.

I'm sorry for anyone who has been deceived and hurt by HIS FALSE TEACHINGS.


May God open his eyes and help him to make amends for his false doctrine teaching.


I pray that any harm taught by his ( JD Farag ) 7 year pre tribulation rapture false doctrine, will be undone I pray this in JESUS name.

Hi Steven,

I sent my comment on this YouTube to Gerlinda, just for her to read, but she thought my comment should be posted, so she posted the whole thing, Farag and me both.

I was not endorsing his 7 year pre-trib position, just commenting on how Christians do sometimes have lots "to lose" when they lose their family, friends, and some of their support. I was a little hard on him, as I know he has had some crosses to bear.
