Japan and South Korea defy China air zone rules
Japan and South Korea have both flown planes unannounced through China's newly-declared air defence zone, officials from both nations say. Japanese aircraft had conducted routine "surveillance activity" over the East China Sea zone, the top government spokesman said. South Korea had also conducted a flight, its defence ministry said.

Officials tell news that a 5.3 magnitude Papua New Guinea earthquake today began just after 12:30 am local time (on November 27, 2013). The quake had a moderate depth. USGS indicates to news that the quake started on-land and forty-seven miles below ground level. As a result the quake could be felt across the region.
