For much too long now Christians have been led by "false prophets" and Pastors who have been trained in seminaries by other men. It is a very rare Christian who has actually searched into the Feasts of God in Leviticus 23 to see what they actually foreshadow...Col.2:17

Almost ALL information about these Feasts of God have come from sources outside of the Bible. Lies, or half-truths, have totally distorted these "Feasts of God", such as:

These are "Jewish" Feast Day (NO, THEY ARE NOT)

Each Feast (supposedly) proclaims a work of God:
a.) Passover proclaims the "Jewish" Messiah.
b.) Unleavened Bread proclaims the Jewish Exodus.
c.) Firstfruits proclaims the resurrection of Jesus Christ on a Sunday.
d.) Pentecost proclaims the giving of the Holy Spirit with evidence of "talking in tongues.
e.) Feast of Trumpets proclaim the "rapture" of the Church.
f.) Feast of Tabernacles proclaims the cleansing of the Jewish Temple and the restoration of the Jews as world rulers.

ALL THESE ARE EITHER OUTRIGHT LIES OR HALF-TRUTHS! They are the Feasts of God in Leviticus 23 which have been distorted and misunderstood. Yet, most Christians live their lives looking to the present Jewish nation of Israel for the salvation of God to come.

And there are Christians who will fight to the death to uphold these things that they believe to be true....all because their particular "denomination" teaches these things.

This reminds me of the history of the Roman Catholic church who would not allow it's "flock" of deceived people to read ANY Bible for fear of their learning the truth. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely"....and Pastors and Priests want ABSOLUTE POWER over their "flock of sheeple"!!

No "denomination" has absolute truth. And NONE OF US should be in ANY denomination. We should be "one body" in Christ....and all learning together and from each other. It's the denomination leaders who teach us to argue and fight....because if they lose their "sheep", then they lose their way to make a living.

Truth comes by READING AND STUDYING THE BIBLE, and then comparing what others say to what is actually IN THE BIBLE as you perceive it to be. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth....John 16:13. But if you don't LISTEN to what others say, and if you don't SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH, then you will fall for the lies of others....

In other words, we are not yet acceptable offerings to God in the fullest sense of the word. The Feast of Tabernacles is a time when all of this will change, for He will come to His temple--His body, His priesthood--to purify them, so that they may truly offer up an acceptable offering. The divine law in Leviticus 2:11 states that no offering can be mixed with leaven, and yet the Pentecostal offering was two loaves of bread baked with leaven (Lev. 23:17). This prophesies to us that as long as we remain in Pentecost, we are an unacceptable offering to God in the ultimate sense. God must purify us through the Feast of Tabernacles in order that we might come fully into the divine presence with no veils between us.

Then Jesus came to them. John says they had rowed twenty or thirty furlongs (John 6:19), which was about the middle of the lake. Peter went out to meet Him. He was here acting out the part of the overcomers who will "meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thess. 4:17).

Take note that NOT ALL of the disciples went out to meet Him, even though they were all believers. Only Peter set foot out of the boat. He represents the overcomers. Peter, of course, began to look at the wind and waves and began to sink, but Jesus caught him. This shows that the overcomers are probably no more perfect than the other believers, or disciples, but they do have something within them that the others do not have. Other Bible passages give more details, but this is outside the scope of the present story.

Our journey through this present life is to LEARN. We cannot just take it for granted that someone knows more than we do just because he/she went to a school to learn about the Bible.

I knew one man from long ago who was thoroughly educated as an Episcopal Minister (or whatever title they have bought, and paid for, upon graduation). When I spoke to him of things of the Bible, he told me that the "lay person" is not supposed to understand things of the Bible. The "best advice" he gave me was to "throw your Bible away and listen to me"!!!

And, you can just imagine what I did with that advice. However, that's just about what EVERY "Pastor" tells his congregation...."Forget the Bible and listen to me."!! "And both will fall into the ditch"....Matthew 15:14
