THE 'REAL' 70th WEEK OF DANIEL BEGAN WHEN 'JESUS BEGAN HIS MINISTRY'.......






The 'real' 70th Week of Daniel is really 7 years long:




"Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins..." They did NOT "finish the transgression and make an end of sins" during the first 69 weeks therefore:




The 70th, and last-week, began when Jesus began His ministry by 'confirming a covenant of salvation by grace with the many Israelites for one week' , which is the 7- year-long 70th Week of Daniel. "But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering." When Jesus was rejected and crucified in the middle of the 70th week, 3 1/2 years into His ministry, that brought an end to God's acceptance of any future blood "sacrifice and offering" from anyone ever period ! Jesus Himself was the last 'blood sacrifice' accepted as the 'Lamb of God' which ended ALL future acceptable blood "sacrifice and offering". Jesus was the final 'blood sacrifice' of the Israelites, and they will suffer God's vengeance of wrath for that big mistake !




Because Jesus was rejected and crucified by the Israleites God now offered the original 'covenant of salvation by grace' to the Gentiles on Pentecost when He sent the Holy Spirit into the world to build His Gentile Church which began the 'Church Age' or the 'Age of Grace' we are now living in. We now reside in the last-days of the 'Age of Grace' or the 'Church Age' for the Gentiles which is the time period between the end of the first-half and the beginning of the last-half of the 'real' 70th week of Daniel. We are now between the two halves. The last-half will begin soon !




The 3 1/2 year 'last-half' of the 70th Week of Daniel will begin on the LAST DAY of the 'Age of Grace' or the 'Church Age' which is the Church's 'Day of rapture'.




Immediately after the rapture of the Church, Satan arrives on earth, after being cast down from heaven, to begin his 42 month / 1,260 day / 3 1/2 year 'reign of wrath' on earth for the last-half of the 70th Week of Daniel. Therefore the 3 1/2 year first-half of the 70th Week of Daniel was Jesus Christ's ministry of salvation by grace which was rejected, so now the 3 1/2 year last-half of the 70th Week of Daniel will be Satan's 'reign of wrath' upon the earth. They rejected Jesus and crucified Him so we will see how they like Satan's program for them !




Revelation 12:12

"Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you (His Church/bride) who dwell in them ! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea ! For the devil has come down to you, HAVING GREAT WRATH, because he knows he has a short time." (42 months /1,260 days / 3 1/2 years ).




Daniel 2:6-7

"How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be ? .......And swore by Him who lives forever, that IT SHALL BE FOR A TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME, and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE FINISHED."

RE: 70th week of Daniel in time of Jesus Christ


I (almost) totally agree with you on this one. However, I do not think (as Steve Wohlberg has pointed out) that we can "chop up" that 70th week into pieces of 3 1/2 years (then, in about 33AD) + 3 1/2 years (2000 years later). I believe the end of that 70th week is seen in Acts 28:28: (I couldn't help but notice the number significance of that book and verse as well.)

#5...Acts is 5th Book of NT, and "5" is the number indicating "grace".
#4...signifying "worldwide"
#7...signifying perfection in God's judgment (see the "7"s in the Book of Revelation judgments).


And this verse is: "Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles (nations of the world), and that they will hear it."...Acts 28:28

Then the next verse shows the COMPLETED 70th week of God's dealing with the House of Judah...(in the Bible, people who call themselves "Jews".

"And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves."...Acts 28:29

And THEN, the Book of Acts shows the Gospel going out to the world with the preaching of the "Kingdom of God", as Jesus told us about in Luke 17:21. From that END point (end of 70th week of Daniel...3 1/2 years after the death of Jesus Christ...Paul points to "two of the years" in waiting to go forth as seen in vs.30) concentration is now turned to the "Israel of God"...all who are to be spiritually baptized into the "body of Christ"....both Jews and Gentiles.

"Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him."....Acts 28:31

Salvation is now going to ALL the nations of the world (Gentiles) and no longer to the apostate Jews alone. But, God's wrath will come upon Edom...the "Synagogue of Satan".....which is defined as "those who say they are Jews and are not...see Rev.2:9 and 3:9. The 70th week of Daniel has been completed at that time in the Book of Acts.

Additional information for those wanting to know. Daniel was NOT a "Jew". He was of the royal line of the Tribe of JUDAH....and this has absolutely nothing to do with Judaism (Jews). Daniel 9:24 says, "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city..."

This is speaking of the TRIBE OF JUDAH, who were Daniel's "people". And this time ended with the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross...and with the total destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD as predicted by Jesus in Matthew 24. "This generation ...Matthew 24:34... saw the destruction of the Jews and Jerusalem...but ALL CHRISTIANS escaped because of the warning Jesus gave them. See the historical records of Josephus.

And by the "type and shadow" of historical Biblical events, we can look to the future with the same confidence.
