WHY THE TITLE RAPTURE BIBLE PROPHECY FORUM?
WE STARTED OUT BELIEVING IN A 7 YR PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE
BUT FOUND OVER TIME AROUND 2006 THAT THE BIBLE DOES NOT SHARE A
BIBLE VERSE WHATSOEVER INDICATING A 7 YR PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE

BIBLE VERSES EVIDENCE:

While Yahusha/JESUS was alive, He prayed to His Father: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  John 17:15 (KJV)

Yahusha/JESUS gave signs of what must happen before His Return:  "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"  Matt. 24:29 (KJV)

THE "WRATH OF THE LAMB"....understanding what it really is!

FOR FAIR USE AND EDUCATION AND DISCUSSION PURPOSES/color]

These things that are spiritually seen by John in the Book of Revelation will affect EVERY CHRISTIAN of EVERY AGE, past, present, and future. They are said to be things that must SHORTLY COME TO PASS. This does NOT mean that they will happen 2,000 years later.

LOOK UP WHAT THE TERM "AT HAND" MEANS! And look up what it means by "shortly come to pass". It does not mean any lengthy time in the far future.

Even Jesus Christ, Himself, said that all the things He spoke of were "AT HAND", which means NOW. All these things BEGAN happening when Jesus Christ walked this earth, and they are still happening WITHIN US ALL... (see Matthew 3:2, 4:17, 10:7; and Mark 1:15, and Luke 21:31). Jesus Christ, Himself, also said, "The Kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU."...Luke 17:21

Some ignorant Christians say that the church (body of Christ) will not receive "wrath". We are not "appointed to wrath" (I thessalonians 5:9), but if God has determined that we NEED IT in the process of our "cleansing", we sure as heck will get it!! If we had done our homework by reading, studying, and understanding the Bible, then we won't have to go through the "wrath of the Lamb"....but if we NEGLECT to do this, and we have not "studied to show ourselves approved unto God" (II Tim. 2:15)...we WILL BE going through some "wrath" to instruct us otherwise.

We went through the "wrath" of our parents when we disobeyed, and it will be no different with our Heavenly Parent (our spiritual Father). We will get what we deserve. Our SIN debt is paid (for believers)...but our "works" judgement is yet to come for all of us.. "yet so as by fire" (I Cor.15:52).

Again, J.Preston Eby is the only one who can explain it clearly enough to understand. But if one can't understand "spiritual" things, then it will take prayer for more understanding.

Piece of the article within the link:

The passion behind the correction is the correct meaning of the word for wrath in the Greek text. Passion — ardor, zeal, fervor, emotion, intense action, earnestness, strong desire, fire, irresistible urge, overflowing love — ALL THIS IS THE “WRATH” OF THE LAMB!

When the Lamb is stirred to intense action in our lives to change and make things right we then experience His wrath! Why has there been such misunderstanding on the part of believers as to the true nature and attitude of God in respect to His wrath? I submit that it is because our interpretation of His heart, His judgment, and His intentions has been made in accordance with man’s own carnal and vengeful nature!

The Adamic mind ever seeks retaliation, retribution, and destruction upon those who commit wrongful, sinful, or criminal acts. It takes a heart after God’s own heart to say with our Lord, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” It also takes a heart after God’s own heart to then set about precise measures for correcting, changing, redeeming, restoring, and transforming the sinner!

When we come to the book of Revelation we find that it is a goodness book! “Behold, I make all things new.” That’s good! “A new heaven and a new earth.” That’s good! “The tabernacle of God is with men.” That’s good! “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” How unspeakably good that is!

The book of Revelation has a wonderful ending! And the end is the fruit of all that went before. It is the blessed result of the wrath of the Lamb! The book reveals that God is not out to “get us” in a negative, destructive way. Rather, the wrath of God is out to “get us” in a loving and constructive way!

Have you considered the truth that when the book of Revelation portrays judgments they are not judgments that are against you? They are against evil, they are against the Adamic mind-set, they are against the flesh, they are against traditions, errors, fairy tales, folklore, and superstitions, against carnal systems of man-made religion, against self-will, selfhood, and selfishness — but God’s judgments are never against YOU!

The Lord has left no room for doubt that the great purpose — indeed, the only purpose — of judgment is to RIGHT WHAT IS WRONG. That’s why the book of Revelation ends so gloriously! That marvelous end is the final result of all God’s righteous judgments!

Note the expectation in the prophet Isaiah’s spirit as he announces: “Yea, in the way of THY JUDGMENTS, O Lord, have we waited for Thee…with my soul have I desired Thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek Thee early: for when THY JUDGMENTS ARE IN THE EARTH, THE INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD WILL LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS!” (Isa. 26:8-9). Oh, the wonder of it!

***************

Oh, that more Christians would actually "see" and understand the goodness, love, and mercy of God instead of believing that He is an unmerciful tyrant who will cast most of His creation into "eternal hellfire"....

Re: THE "WRATH OF THE LAMB"....understanding what it really is!

Arlene,
I think you have misunderstood what the wrath of God is. As born again believers in Jesus Christ, we are not appointed to God's wrath. Those who die in their sins will face God's wrath, and those who take the mark of the beast. It's true that God chastens us when we are disobedient, just as we chasten our kids when they do things wrong. That is not the same as wrath. Preston Eby has got a lot of things wrong when it comes to doctrine.
