THE JUBILEE YEAR 2017 WILL LIKELY BE THE YEAR THAT JESUS WILL PROCLAIM "THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD"
and "THE DAY OF VENGEANCE OF OUR GOD" DURING THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES TISHRI 15 / OCTOBER 4, 2017




In 1917 the Balfour Agreement was signed by the British Parliment allowing for the establishment of Israel in a Jubilee Year, and then 50 years later in a Jubilee Year --


In 1967 the Nation of Israel reclaimed possession of the Holy City Jerusalem, and then 50 years later in a Jubilee Year --


In 2017 the Lord Jesus will likely "proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord", and "the day of vengeance of our God" in a Jubilee Year according to Levitical Law on the Feast of Tabernacles Tishri 15 / October 4, 2017


The prophecy of Isaiah 61:1-2 is the only prophecy that Jesus quoted, EXCEPT HE OMITTED THE LAST PHRASE, during the Feast of Tabernacles as recorded in Luke 4:17-19.


Lets look at Isaiah's prophecy first:


Isaiah 61:1-2
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and THE DAY OF VENGEANCE OF OUR GOD."


Now lets look at Isaiah's prophecy as Jesus quoted it while OMITTING THE LAST PHRASE:


Luke 4:17-19
"And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, " Then he closed the book, and then He said,"Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing".


Yes, but He OMITTED the last phrase, "AND THE DAY OF VENGEANCE OF OUR GOD", because that part of the Scripture was NOT fulfilled on THAT day. It was to be fulfilled in the distant future. The future will likely be the Jubilee Year 2017 when the 70th Week of Daniel begins during the Fall Feasts of the Lord. That is when "the day of vengeance of our God" will be proclaimed to be fulfilled.


The "DAY OF VENGEANCE OF OUR GOD" is going to be proclaimed to be fulfilled during the Feast of Tabernacles, according to Levitical Law, in the Fall of the year 2017.
