Just as the 5 wise virgins & 5 foolish virgins & the bride do not know, the day or hour of her bridegroom’s coming to take her away, they DID know the ‘season’ of His coming.

Some like the Magi, Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea and most of the Apostles DID recognize the SEASON of Jesus coming as prophesied in Scripture.

The Apostles asked Jesus: “Tell us WHEN shall these things be? And WHAT shall be the SIGN of Your Coming, and end of the world?” Jesus responded clearly as recorded in Matt.24:5-31.

281 B.C. Antiochus 1 Soter, meaning savior (The "little horn"), took the throne, initiating the 'Seleucid' empire of Antiochus Epiphanes (type of the antichrist). He desecrated the temple, resulting in the institution of Hanukkah aka Feast of Dedication. It was the same heavenly sanctuary that the little-horn power figuratively attempted to cast down and claim it for himself. The “cleansing” or “reconsecration” of the sanctuary thus has to do with righting the wrongs that the little horn has created in its attempt to establish an earthly substitute for the work of the heavenly sanctuary. The sanctuary has been symbolically defiled by the little horn; it will be cleansed by the final judgment. Through this judgment, it will become evident that all during this struggle, the true sanctuary was the one in heaven. That heavenly judgment occurs at the end of 2300 days during the Feast of Atonement at the end of the age.

Astrophysicists and Astronomers concur that celestial events that occur only once every 26,000 years in 2012, plus or minus five years (2007 – 2017 ) During this time a celestial event of the sun, earth and moon aligning with the center of the universe will occur. At the same time, the earth’s pivot on its axis will also be in alignment with the center of the galaxy.

Ancient Mayan calendars date 2012, plus or minus five years ( 2007 – 2017 ), depicted this period as one of complete ‘Doomsday’ destruction on the earth.

These Mayan dates are coincidentally the same years as Biblical prophecy for the ‘End Of the Age’, known as the ‘Apocalypse’, spanning the same years of 2008 to 2018. As a result of two fulfilled prophecies this 10-year period spans the ‘Feast of Trumpets to the Feast of Atonement: a period of Biblical eschatology predicting increasing ‘Tribulation’ unto ‘Wrath’ and consummated by ‘Judgment’. "Quiet" Sun can also hit Earth with wild winds ( September 18, 2009 )

The Sun can lash the Earth with powerful winds that can disrupt communications, aviation and power lines even when it is in the quiet phase of its 11-year solar cycle, according to U.S. scientists.

Observers have traditionally used the number of sunspots on the surface of the Sun to measure its activity. The number of sunspots reaches a peak at what is called the solar maximum, then declines to reach a minimum during a cycle.

At the peak, intense solar flares and geomagnetic storms eject vast amounts of energy into space, crashing into the Earth's protective magnetic fields, knocking out satellites, disrupting communications and causing colorful auroras.

Earth was bombarded with intense solar winds last year ( 2008 ) despite an unusually quiet phase for the Sun. "The solar wind can hit Earth like a fire hose even when there are virtually no sunspots."

Although the current solar minimum has fewer sunspots than any minimum in 75 years, the Sun's effect on Earth's outer radiation belt was more than three times greater last year than in 1996.
