Does anyone else feel "caught between 2 worlds?"

On the one hand, I am STUCK here!! (lol....)

Not a bad place to be stuck:
Florida now for 27 years. Nice home....GREAT Wife!! 2 kids....grown now and (SAVED!!)....but doing their "own thing" 2 hours away in 1 case and 12 hours away in the other.....so they have their own lives now.....

I can certainly think of alot WORSE places to be stuck.

And yet....

On the other hand...

At age 57, and SAVED BY JESUS CHIRST......and an EXCITED End Times Bible Student.... I find myself wanting to see ALL of God's Last Days Plans come to fruition.....and START!!! Starting with the Pre-Rapture of the church.

It HAS been an exciting journey over the last 14 years.....learning about the Return of Jesus Christ....and the NEARNESS of the hour. (Whether it is in 4 months....or 4 years......)

It is still exciting to watch all the signs that continue to point the way....
And....it is still exciting to interact with other fellow Believers in the nearness of Christ's Return......though, except for the internet...there are not that many people who believe as I (we) do.....

It is also very exciting to follow what is going on in Israel....to read Netenyahu's speech from Yad Vashem in Israeal (I've been there!) on their Day of Rememberance this past week. It is exciting to see how near the attack must be for Israel against it's arch enemy, sworn to destoy them, Iran.


But.....I've gotten SO CAUGHT UP in the nearness of the hour,,,,,that the waiting is KILLING ME!! (lol....tongue in cheek) My focus is so much on ALL of that happening.....that my enjoyment of THIS life has severely faded...and my focus on the needs of THIS life (my work) has been impacted as well. (wah!) But then, my work in investments, is severely impacted by what is about to happen in the Middle East.......and I have LOST my eonomic optimism that is normally required in this business. (Again....wah!...lol..)

And then to add on top of that......the US and World Markets jsut still seem to want to be oing UP....IN SPITE OF ALL THE EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY....that thigns are NOT good in Europe....or in the US.... WAH!!! lol.....

And thus...I just want this waiting to be OVER!!!

Every day, when something happens in the world news to "perk our ears" about the nearness of the hour, I get a little excited.. Ah......the ups and downs of the "birth pangs!"

Anyway..... just felt like sharing. (Hmmmmm......to some extent, posting on Five Doves has been therapeutic for me over the last couple years.) As has been reading the posts every day.

When John misses a day now and then......don't we all get a little sad? I know I do.

Anyway...... here's hoping for 2012...for so MANY reasons.

Not the least of which is:

1) Israel just HAS to go after Iran this year.....right?


2) Europe can't BLOW UP financially until AFTER the Rapture....nor the United States....right? (As in the days of Noah.......the world will be going on as NORMAL in teh last days.)


3) 2018.......Hebrew year 5778......is just around the corner. Leaving JUST ENOUGH time for a 7 year Tribulation (after the Rapture) until the Final Return of Jesus Christ during the 70th year after Israel's re-birth. Right?????



Anyway......I long to be IN heaven.....AFTER the Rapture.....at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God....with His Bride.......just like the Bible has stated...and the way I have been taught....

I can't wait to talk with the Old Testament writers.......the main characters in ALL the stories....and the Disciples....and the other New Testament characters. I've been to Israel once....and I found it inspirational. Just wait until we are THERE again one day.......

Lots of things to look forward to........more there, than here.....at this point for me.
