We get the sense of the word
The letter yood is the smallest of the Hebrew letters. It means a closed hand, a deed and has the numeric value of the number 10. It denotes power and possession.

Kaf in paleo Hebrew is a "an open palm"-denoting the work of one's palms, than the work of one's hands. Meaning productive labor, or the symbol of crowning achievement. The "palm" of the hand is the place in the body where one's potential is actualized. It's where one's potential is realized There is a Havdalah blessing at the conclusion of the Shabbat which signifies the transition from the holiness of the Sabbath to the weekdays. A fishhook can symbolize pulling forward or a desire.
The word for desire is ra-tsah.
