Hello, John and Doves,

Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said,
"He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets." Acts 3:21

This means that Jesus can only come in a Jubilee year. The next Jubilee scheduled is due to be declared by Yeshua Ha Mashiach as such on Yom Kippur, 5776, which is September 23, 2015.

Why this must be so, is clear if we consult God's holy prophets, as strongly suggested by Peter that we do.

We'll just look at one Holy Prophet of the Tanakh, Daniel.
It is written that the angel Gabriel said to Daniel,
" 'Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy....' " Daniel 9:24

These "seventy sevens" are to be counted as prescribed by Scripture. For the Israel-only scenario, refer to Daniel 9:25-27. To get the larger picture, go back to Leviticus.

It is written,
" 'Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a Sabbath unto the LORD.' " Leviticus 25:2

The children of Israel made a first approach to the Promised Land in the time of grape harvest, six months after Passover, 2305. This would have been the beginning of the civil year, 2306. This same year, 2306, is when they might have started counting. But they lacked the faith to obey HaShem at His Word. Forty years later, in 2346, the children of Israel entered the Promised Land. And according to Daniel 9:24 and Leviticus 25:2ff, the clock started ticking inexorably towards the Second Coming of Yeshua Ha Mashiach.

The "seventy sevens," from our end of "His Story," can be regarded as seventy sevens of shmita counts.
If we think along these lines, we find--to our utter astonishment--that HaShem has apparently decreed the following, from the get go.

2346 + (70 X 49) = 2346 + 3430 = 5776. Now, the first year of the children of Israel dwelling in the Promised Land was 2346. The fiftieth year was 2396. This was the first Jubilee.
"Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan."
Leviticus 25:10

Here's where some people get hopelessly lost. Follow carefully. 1 + 49 = 50. Therefore, every 49th year is the Jubilee, which is also the first year of the next count. Why? Because HaShem counts by sevens! When in doubt, always refer back to clear Scriptural teaching. Remember Exodus 20:8?
"Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy."

So, then, based on these Scriptures, where are we in time? Today is January 26, 2012--2 Tevet 5772 until about twilight. Please see http://www.aish.com/jewish-calendar/. This is the same calendar recommended by Mark Biltz, a Messianic Jew, of the lunar tetrads fame http://www.elshaddaiministries.us/.

Yeshua Ha Mashiach is due to set foot on the Mount of Olives on Yom Kippur, 10 Tishrei, 5776, to proclaim "the acceptable year of the LORD." [Isaiah 61:2]

On a side note, that's when the twin "mountains of Bether [Song of Songs 2:17]" will be created, as well as the "Valley of Jehoshaphat [Joel 3:2]." The Mount of Olives will split in two, half to the North, and half to the South [Zechariah 14:4]. The resulting valley will lead straight to the Gate Beautiful, the Golden Gate. Yeshua Ha Mashiach will say, "I AM here." And at His Name, the rocks will fall out of the Gate, and He will march triumphantly through. His Name is irresistible. John 18:6 was just a foretaste.

Indeed, it is written,
" 'this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.' Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey." Acts 1:11b-12

Incidentally, verse 7 indicates that Jesus knew that His Apostles would not see His Second Coming in their unresurrected bodies. After all, 55 AD was only the 30th Jubilee out of 70!
