First, let me encourage everyone to look forward to a Christmas Eve Rapture. Now, going on:

I decided to verify the numbers using the following calendar converter program as "Gospel":

April 7, 30 AD

Since this date could be referring to Julian and not our present Gregorian extrapolated backward, I'll assume this is Julian which is equivalent to April 5, 30 AD Gregorian. This is also Nisan 16, 3790, a Friday, and Modified Julian day count -667889.

Now I personally think Jesus Christ was dead for 3 1/2 days before being resurrected by God the Father on Sunday morning before daybreak, being in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights. This would take us back to Wednesday, Nisan 14, 3790, April 5, 30 AD Julian, April 3, 30 AD Gregorian, and Modified Julian Day count -667891 using the calendar converter. Now Jesus Christ died the afternoon before Passover and Passover is Nisan 15, so that fits. Also, there is recorded at the British Museum a communication sent from Pilate to Caesar reporting the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth dated April 6, Julian, although no year was reported on the note. If this note is genuine it also serves another witness. But for now, grant me the liberty to adjust the date by two days to April 5, 30 AD Julian.

Subtracting 888 x 14 = 12,432 days = 34.533 360-day years and 34.038 solar years or 34 years 14 days we have:

-667891 - 12432 = -680323

Now putting this number into the calendar converter it yields:

March 22, 5 BC Julian, March 20 5 BC Gregorian, Nisan 14, 3756. It can be confusing into thinking the calendar converter is giving 4 BC because the Gregorian shows up first on the list as March 20 -4. However, the -4 is extrapolating backward Gregorian which didn't exist so their convention in this program is to have a 0 year in Gregorian. So, -4 equals 5 BC. If one looks at the Julian date one sees March 22, -5 which converts directly to the date of 5 BC.

Going on.

Wow! That gave Nisan 14 exactly, which means if this is what happened, it was exactly 34 Hebrew years from His conception to His death.

Okay, had I not subtracted the 2 days I would be at March 24, 5 BC Julian, not March 20/21st, 4 BC. So, from using the online calendar converter I get an extra year and 3-4 extra days. I like 5 BC better anyway because of the majority concensus that Herod the Great died late March, early April of 4 BC.

Now, regarding when the Spring equinox occurred in 5 BC. According to:

When Julius Caesar established his calendar in 45 BC, he fixed the Spring equinox on March 25. The reasons of the actual shift to March 21 are linked to the goal followed by Pope Gregory XIII to create his modern Gregorian calendar.

So, we are off a few day, but close. We could get closer if the 12,432 days defined from conception to resurrection.

Going on. Adding 280 days brings us to:

-680323 + 280 days = -680043

This is December 27th Julian, December 25th Gregorian, 5 BC, Teveth 27, 3757. While this hits our Gregorian Christmas of December 25th, it misses Hanukkah by 1 month too late in this particular year. I suppose one could argue that the Hebrew calendar is now calculated while back in 5 BC it was based on Abib observance so could have had a late Spring.

But then, back then, Hanukkah was a recognized Festival of Lights Holy day but December 25th was not Christmas.

Gerry you state:

I couldn't agree more that Hanukkah must have contained the birth day of Jesus Christ, specifically, exactly in the midst of the 8 days of Hanukkah, or exactly where the Servant candle is situated between the 8 other candles on the Menorah. Or exactly situated in time at the evening or sunset of the 4th day of Hanukkah of the 8 days of Hannukah.

We arrive at exactly that date from taking that the Times of the Gentiles were 2 of the Lord's days or 2,000 360-day man years.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. II Peter 3:8

Counting back from 6/7/1967 when Jerusalem was no longer trodden down and under the control of the Gentiles, we arrive at:

6/7/1967 = 39,648 Modified Julian Day Count

2,000 x 360 = 720,000 days

39,648 - 720,000 = -680,352 Modified Julian Day Count

Just for the fun of it, this would give when finding the difference with -667,891 for His death, we have 12,461 = 17 x 733 which admittedly doesn't look as interesting as 14 x 888 (888 standing for Jesus in Greek) = 12,432. It is what it is.

Now let us add 280 days to arrive at birth which would be:

-680,352 + 280 = -680,072 Modified Julian Day Count

This is Kislev 28, 3757. In other words the 4th day of Hanukkah, right in the midst of the 8 days of Hannukah. Hit it on the head!

Fast forward exactly 2015 Hebrew years to Kislev 28, 5772. That day is December 24, 2011, Christmas Eve! Sunset on December 24th, 2011 would be exactly in the middle of the 8 day Hanukkah celebration. The convergence of signs. The Bride Rapture? We do not have long to wait to find out!

But one the conclusions as contained in this post is:

Now Hanukkah is an 8 day event, celebrating 8 days that oil for the temple that was only enough to last for one day, lasted. The 9 fingered Menorah is used to count off each day with the center candle, the servant candle, used to light each day. The first day is Kislev 25. The fourth day is Kislev 28. With Jesus born the fourth day, the Jews would have come to the position of the servant candle on the fourth day, the date of His birth. Jesus IS the servant candle. Jesus was BORN in the midst of Hanukkah. Hallelujah!
