Rick Warren “One World” all faiths prayer for Obama

This is a transcript of Rick Warrens prayer for President Obama, made 20th of January 2009 at the lawn of the White House.


Rick Warren blessed Obama using Islams "Esa" in the same prayer as he used "Jesus".

Almighty God, our father, everything we see and everything we can’t see exists because of you alone. It all comes form you, it all belongs to you, it all exists for your glory. History is your story.

The Scripture tells us, ‘Hear, oh Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one’ and you are the compassionate and merciful one and you are loving to everyone you have made.

Now today we rejoice not only in America’s peaceful transfer of power for the 43rd time, we celebrate a hinge-point of history with the inauguration of our first African American president of the united states.

We are so grateful to live in this land, a land of unequaled possibility, where a a son of an African Immigrant can rise to the highest level of our leadership. And we know today that Dr. King and a great cloud of witnesses are shouting in heaven.

Give to our new president, Barack Obama, the wisdom to lead us with humility, the courage to lead us with integrity, the compassion to lead us with generosity. Bless and protect him, his family, Vice President Biden, the Cabinet and every one of our freely elected leaders.

Help us, oh God, to remember that we are Americans. United not by race or religion or by blood, but to our commitment to freedom and justice for all. When we focus on ourselves, when we fight each other, when we forget you, forgive us.

When we presume that our greatness and our prosperity is ours alone, forgive us. when we fail to treat our fellow human beings and all the earth with the respect that they deserve, forgive us.

And as we face these difficult days ahead, may we have a new birth of clarity in our aims, responsibility in our actions, humility in our approaches and civility in our attitudes—even when we differ.

Help us to share, to serve and to seek the common good of all. May all people of good will today join together to work for a more just, a more healthy and a more prosperous nation and a peaceful planet.

And may we never forget that one day, all nations, all people will stand accountable before You. We now commit our new president and his wife Michelle and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, into your loving care.

I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life—Yeshua, Esa, Jesus, Jesus—who taught us to pray:
Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be they name. They kingdom come, they will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

This is the first time I have studied the transcript of the prayer Rick Warren used to bless Obama, as a Muslim by birth entered the White House.

There is a lot of stuff in this prayer that will please people of all faiths. It is not challenging to anyone.

1. ‘Hear, oh Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one’

No Jew will be offended by this. Jesus quoted the Torah, and explained that He and the Father are One. They are singular, One, always in agreement. But in form, Elohim is a plural Hebrew word. God is three in One. God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. “and you are the compassionate and merciful one”.


Every Muslim will rejoice, that Warren feels the Bible told Israel this. Because the “merciful One” in not “The great I AM”, but “allah”.

He is “allah – there is no deity but Him. He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible. He is the All-Merciful, the Most Merciful. He is “allah”.

113 of 144 Surahs in the Koran, starts with this name of “allah”: Merciful. All Merciful, and Most Merciful.

Here is Surah 65 in the Koran.

Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission; most surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men..

Some more points:

3. “And we know today that Dr. King and a great cloud of witnesses are shouting in heaven”.

The Pope claims he knows who has made it to heaven. The Pope is infallible when he canonize departed saints. Rick Warren has the same powers. He know “Dr. King is in Heaven”, even shouting, celebrating the outcome of the American election. That is Amazing.

4.I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life—Yeshua, Esa, Jesus, Jesus—who taught us to pray:

All Muslims must have rejoiced, when Warren acknowledged that Jesus and the Muslim prophet Isa (Esa) is the same man.

If not so, why are they mentioned in the same prayer?

This is the most shocking to me. I never thought Warren would expose his universalism, by using Esa in his blessings of the Obamas.

Who is Esa?

What is he doing inside a Christian prayer?

To my best knowledge Rick Warren is a double talker.

He do not practice what he preach. We can acknowledge his universalism, by reading this prayer. Warren is a dangerous false teacher of a new “god” who accept lawlessness. Warren use the name of “Jesus” for his own convenience.

The rise of “Chrislam” is going on. Saddelback Church, a member of World Council of Churches (WCC), has taken the lead.

Rick Warren Addresses Rumors He Supports Chrislam

Rick Warren is calling his affiliation with Chrislam (a bridge-building attempt to allow the two religions to coexist) “nonsense” and “a lie that won’t die.”

Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church, directly responded to one of his Twitter followers on the microblogging site on Saturday. The question was: “Old guy on TV claims u support chrislam. True?”

That “old guy” was likely Jack Van Impe, the popular end-times television host who walked way from TBN in the wake of a dispute over naming well-known ministers he claims are mixing Muslim and Christian beliefs.

Warren had previously commented about the rumors in response to a blog post where people were attacking him for his reported support of Chrislam. In the comment, he pointed to Proverbs 14:15, which states “Only a fool believes all that he hears.”

Here is the rest of Warren’s response:

The so-called "Chrislam" rumor is 100 percent false. If the guy who started this libelous myth, or anyone else who passed it on, had obeyed our Lord's command (Matt. 18:18-20) to come directly to me, and then asked what I actually believed—they would have been embarrassed to learn that I believe the exact opposite. As a fourth generation Christian pastor, my life and ministry is built on the truth that Jesus is the only way, and our inerrant Bible is our only true authority.

As an evangelist, I spend much of my time speaking to non-Christian groups. You cannot win your enemies to Christ; only your friends, so we must build bridges of friendship and love to those who believe differently so Jesus can walk across that bridge into their hearts. Besides, it is not a sin, but rather COMMANDED by Jesus that we love our enemies. In the past 10 years, Saddleback Church has baptized over 22,000 new adult believers—simply because we express love to those who don’t know Christ yet.

It is nonsense to believe that you must compromise your beliefs, or water down your convictions in order to love someone, or even just treat them with dignity.

Jesus was called "the friend of sinners" by the legalistic Pharisees because he hung out with (and clearly loved) unbelievers. I HOPE YOU will 1) Always believe that EVERYONE needs Jesus as their Lord & Savior. 2) Have the courage to associate with nonbelievers in order to love them and bring them to the Savior. 3) Consider being called "a friend of sinners" a Christ-like compliment. 4) Refuse to pass on rumors until you've checked for the truth with the person accused. The false statements above should be removed.

Will this put an end to the controversy? Should it? Or is it, as Warren says, the "lie that won't die"?

I have to agree with Jan Markell, Brannon Howse, Pastor Larry DeBruyn, Pastor Bob DeWaay and anyone else who thinks that Rick Warren is a wolf in sheep's clothing. The evidence is overwhelming you may not see things as these people nor may you agree but in the end God will expose Rick Warren as a false teacher as well as the "dominion now" group.
