Subject: Jesus in Psalm 2


Below is Psalms 2, taken from my copy of the American King James Bible, a simple language update to the classic KJV. In my copy, I have restored all cases (almost 7000) of "the LORD" or "GOD" with YHWH or YAH (as in HalleluYah), His real name, given to us in Hebrew with a command to remember it and speak it.

This psalm is telling of a time immediately in front of the world, the time of Jacob's trouble.

2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against YHWH, and against his anointed [Mashiachaw = Messiah], saying,

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

2:4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord [Adonai] YHWH [DSScrolls]** shall have them in derision.

2:5 Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

2:6 Yet have I set my king on my holy hill of Zion.

2:7 I will declare the decree: YHWH has said to me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you. [future prophecy of the birth of Yahshua/Jesus, the only begotten of the Father – John 1:14,18]

2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

2:10 Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth.

2:11 Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2:12 Kiss the Son [Yahshua], lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

** This is one of 134 places the Masoretic scribes actually changed Elohim's given name to Adonai (Lord) in the Tanakh sometime in the centuries after Jesus, in their obedience to the Pharisee's added command (takanot) to never say God's name – which was disobedience never to add or subtract to His words. I have fixed these errors in my TKJV also.

The many copies of the Dead Sea Scrolls are unanimous that they were previously [YHWH]. Also, in the very oldest copies of the Septuagint, the Hebrew created translation of the Tanakh into Greek, they actually wrote the name in the older Paleo Hebrew script, creating yet another witness to the change. It looked something like this:



Although we can't be absolutely sure how to pronounce His name, thanks the Pharisees and their progeny, the Orthodox Rabbis, it was probably said as Yahweh, Yahooweh, or Yahoowah with the accent on the first syllable. It absolutely was NOT Jehovah as there is no J or J sound in Hebrew (or Greek). What does that tell you about the name Jesus?

For many centuries before these "serpents and vipers" (Matthew 23:33) showed up, the Hebrew people obediently used Elohim's name in respectful, daily speech:

And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, YHWH be with you. And they answered him, YHWH bless you. – Ruth 2:4



"Blessed are all they that put their trust in him", the only begotten of the Father.

Did God CREATE A PURE LETTER J the 10th letter SPECIALLY even for HIS NAME?

We should discard ALL LETTERS 'J' or ALL ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPLETELY for REPLACING 'J' FOR HIS NAME!
