Just quoting from the 30 verses in New Testament.[note OLD Testament has 78verses]

2Corinthians:7:10: "For godly SORROW worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the SORROW of the world worketh death."


Godly SORROW verses

Matthew:26:37: "And [JESUS]He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be SORROWful and very heavy."

Matthew:26:38: "Then saith [Jesus]He unto them, My soul is exceeding SORROWful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me."

Mark:14:34: "And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding SORROWful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch."

Luke:22:45: "And when He rose up from prayer, and was come to His disciples, He found them sleeping for SORROW,"

John:16:6: "But because I have said these things unto you, SORROW hath filled your heart."

John:16:20: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be SORROWful, but your SORROW shall be turned into joy."

John:16:21: "A woman when she is in travail hath SORROW, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world."

John:16:22: "And ye now therefore have SORROW: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you."

Romans:9:2: "That I have great heaviness and continual SORROW in my heart."

1Thessalonians:4:13: "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye SORROW not, even as others which have no hope."

Revelation:21:4: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither SORROW, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Acts:20:38: "SORROWing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship."

1Timothy:6:10: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many SORROWs."

Revelation:18:7: "How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and SORROW give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no SORROW."
