If John Hagee did in fact say this, then he does not know the Word of God and certainly should not be teaching the Word of God. There is no getting around John 4:25 - 26 that says:

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am [he].

How straight forward does it have to be to prove it to John Hagee. Personally, since his endorsement of Glenn Beck, I no longer believe that Hagee is born again, but has in fact, all along been a wolf in sheep's clothing. If you say that I don't have the right to say whether or not someone is saved, then I will say to you that I DO have the right to quote God's Word to back up my statement. The bible says in:

1Jo 2:22 KJV - Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jo 2:23 KJV - Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [[but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].

I reiterate, if John Hagee said that Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah, then he is a liar and he is NOT saved. Scripture says what it says. No getting around it. The word "Christ" means Messiah. He is claiming that Jesus is not the Christ or Messiah, by making the statement he did. How sad and scary for him.

Oh, and I'm not directing anything here to you personally, Steven, just to readers in general. You do a great job and I'm glad you aren't afraid to confront lies.

Then it is good for the body of Christ to share the bible and scriptures how God has revealed to them what they believe to be the TRUTH.

Let God be TRUE and every man a liar.

I do not know everything nor do I say I do.

So if we can share with the idea to edify, exhort and encourage in a discipleship fashion with the direction of the HOLY SPIRIT and GRACE in our heart then we can all benefit from our interaction.
