New York City to Shut Down Mass Transit on Saturday at Noon

With Hurricane Irene pushing relentlessly toward the East Coast, officials made plans to shut down New York City’s sprawling subway and bus system beginning at noon on Saturday, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said.

The commuter rail lines that serve Long Island, Westchester County and Connecticut will also be shut down.

Officials decided to go ahead with the transit shutdown, which they had first mentioned on Thursday as a possibility at a City Hall briefing on Thursday, as the city was evacuating hospitals and nursing homes in low-lying areas. State officials continued arrangements for coordinating emergency services and restoring electricity if the storm does the kind of damage many fear.

Seismic Evidence Reveals Underground Nuclear Detonation South of Washington: Seismology charts are now revealing that the 5.8 magnitude tremor that rattled the entire East Coast including Washington DC was not a natural earthquake but an earthquake that resulted from an underground nuclear detonation.

"I went to my source today and they have confirm that the earthquake today with the epicenter in Virginia was a tactical nuke that did go off in an underground bunker. The mighty men and women of valor found the device and had to explode it underground. The target was the nuclear facility located in Virginia."

"Hurricane Irene is now on a path that could take it dangerously close to, if not over, the mid-Atlantic coastline and New York City on Sunday, posing a serious danger to millions of people.

Irene could be "once-in-50-year" hurricane for the Northeast.

The AccuWeather.com Hurricane Center is confident that Irene will strike the Outer Banks of North Carolina Saturday evening as a strong Category 3 or Category 4 hurricane."

QUAKE FELT ALL THE WAY TO CANADA, BOSTON.

Interesting to me are some of the numbers here. First reported as a 5.8 mag. 5+8=13
This occurred on 8/23/11. 23 is the number for DEATH. 8+2+3=13, coupled with the illuminati 11. There’s something peculiar about this quake.

Is this a major warning as to what is soon coming? Is this 5.8 a precursor to another huge quake that David Wilkinson saw in a place not known for quakes? Or does Irene play a part - water is extremly heavy and a major flood event in that are could cause a major quake if the fault is weak anough?

Irene may go to Catagory 4 tracks moving Eastward, but a huge storm - can cause major damage - keep your eyes on this one. New warnings of major trouble for East Coast of the USA - Irene to go to Catagory 4, could it go to a Catagory 5?

UPDATE - EUROPEAN MODEL SHOWS IRENE WILL GO RIGHT OVER WASHINGTON AREA. DEVELOPING.

SGB, I feel that out of odds, when Irene going toward NYC after passing NC, it could possibly gets stronger to category 3 even 4 depends on what Obama says about Palestinian state on this September. However, he would not comment on that matter this weekend ...
