BIBLE VERSES EVIDENCE:
While Yahusha/JESUS was alive, He prayed to His Father: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. John 17:15 (KJV)
Yahusha/JESUS gave signs of what must happen before His Return: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:" Matt. 24:29 (KJV)

"To Rowina concerning Tu B'Av"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Rowina concerning Tu B'Av. I corresponded with rabbis concerning this holiday which is in their writings and posted my first study last year and then again last month. Below is my study posted in June this year. (By the way, I am also watching the end of July as Eliane B suggested).
This is a copy of my post from last year regarding Tu B'Av with a few added notes. Last year when there was no rapture, we all stopped looking at Tu B'Av as a possible rapture date. I really, really think we should put it on our calendars and be watching and praying about it. This might be the date we have longed for!!!
Tu B'Av has so many traditions associated with it that are parallels for the rapture. One of the most compelling is that the Jews while wandering in the desert were according to the Midrash commanded by Moses to sleep in their graves as punishment for not believing the spies who were sent to scout out the promised land. The Jews who slept in their graves each year would arise from their graves and discover that 15,000 of the older generation had died in the night. This continued to happen until all of the older generation had died off. Tu B'Av was celebrated because they knew that at long last they were freed from the curse of the grave and free to enter the promised land under the leadership of Joshua.
We all know that the name of Jesus is derived from Joshua.
I suspect we all are aware that there is a parallel between the promised land and Heaven. The land flowing with milk and honey.
Tu B'Av commemorates when all the chosen people rose from their graves alive! When no one had died in their graves thus signifying that at last they were free to enter the promised land!
The Jews celebrated by allowing the virgins to dress in white and dance in the vineyards to attract husbands.
Someone else on the Doves website pointed out that the tribe of Benjamin was allowed to snatch brides on Tu B'Av and that the word snatched in the Septuagint is harpazo! The same word!
The celebration of Tu B'Av became closely associated with courtship, marriage and the the triumph of life over death.
After the Jews had entered the promised land, each year Tu B'Av was celebrated as one of the most important holidays. It was a time of celebration!
Friends, there is no closer parallel to the rapture than the celebration of Tu B'Av. There is no better picture we could use to illustrate the pre-trib rapture! It all fits. Every detail!
There was a time when I thought Rosh Hashanah might be a rapture date. I was told by various writers that Rosh Hashanah was the next holiday on the Jewish calendar for Jesus to fulfill, as He had already fulfilled all of the Spring dates. But those writers skipped over the summer celebration of Tu B'Av like it wasn't even on the calendar! Tu B'Av was listed as the happiest, most important celebration by a number of Jewish sources. It fell into obscurity after the destruction of the temple. Today, Tu B'Av is regarded as something like Valentines day on several Jewish websites. But it wasn't always something so minor.
I have read everything I can get my hands on regarding Tu B'Av. I have written rabbis to confirm various points that I had questions about. I am not an expert, nor do I consider myself an authority. I am just a seeker after the truth and I have done my best to research this date. Why, I had to ask myself, did so many published writers, TV evangelists and preachers miss Tu B'Av? Was it because it was to remain a hidden day until it was time? IS THIS THE TIME?

"In July 2010 I wrote this article about Tu B'Av"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last year Tu B'av came on July 26. This year (2011) it comes on August 14th.
Colossians 2:16-17, "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."
Oh, the approaching festival is looking promising! If all the festivals are supposed to find their parallels in the life, death, resurrection and return of Jesus, then this lone festival could fit the rapture. Many have rightly said that Jesus has already fulfilled all of the Springtime festivals. They skip over to the Fall festivals and don't look for the rapture until Rosh Hashanah. But they skip right over Tu B'Av like it doesn't exist on the Jewish calendar. It has to be there for a reason! We can't just pretend it isn't there. At one time it was one of the most important Jewish holidays! I am watching this upcoming date on the calendar closely.
Read about how the ancient Jews (and some modern ones) celebrated Tu B'Av.
The next Tu B'Av is July 26, 2010. (written last year)
The Mishna (Ta'anit 4:8), surprisingly enough, proclaims, "There were no greater holidays for Israel than Tu B'av and Yom Kippur, for on them the girls of Jerusalem used to go out in borrowed white dresses ... and dance in the vineyards. What would they say? 'Young man, lift up your eyes and see what you choose for yourself...' ".
Tu B'Av is a holiday devoted to singles. In earlier times the young single women would go out to the fields dressed in white. Each woman would wear a dress borrowed from another so that those who were too poor to have dresses of their own would not be shamed. Then the men would come down to the fields and pick a bride.
After the destruction of the temple and the exile of the Jewish people the holiday was rarely celebrated, but with the establishment of the modern state many Kibbutzim adopted the day as a sort of Jewish Valentine's day. People once again wore white and danced in the fields and the vineyards. Read what the rabbis wrote about Tu B'Av.
"Indeed, the 15th of Av cannot but be a mystery. As the "full moon" of the tragic month of Av, it is the festival of the Future Redemption, and thus a day whose essence, by definition, is unknowable to our unredeemed selves.
Yet also the unknowable is ours to seek and explore, as we shall in two essays, based on the Lubavitcher Rebbe's writings and talks, presented here. The Day of the Breaking of the Ax approaches the mystery of Av 15 by examining a number of events which occurred on this day. Based on Lubavitcher Rebbe's writings, it is thought that with the imminent coming of Moshiach, the true import of the "Day of the Breaking of the Ax" shall come to glorious light, and the 15th of Av will be truly revealed as our greatest festival. The Dancing Maidens of Jerusalem sees in the Talmud's account of their match-seeking dance a model for the various dimensions of our relationship with G-d: And so it is written, "Go out, daughters of Zion, and see King Solomon,1 in the crown with which his mother crowned him on his wedding day and on the day of his heart's rejoicing" (Song of Songs 3:11). "His wedding day" -- this is the Giving of the Torah... " (My note: It struck me that this rabbi made an association of the Song of Solomon with Tu B'Av).
"Tu B'Av celebrates the ultimate consummation of our marriage with the final redemption of Moshiach."
(My note:Notice the connection this rabbi made of Tu B'Av with the Messiah).
"After relating how "the daughters of Jerusalem would go out... and dance in the vineyards" and "whoever did not have a wife would go there" to find himself a bride, the Talmud goes on to describe three different categories of "daughters" and how each would call out to her perspective bridegroom..."
What would the beautiful ones among them say? "Look for beauty, for a woman is for beauty."
What would those of prestigious lineage say? "Look for family, for a woman is for children."
What would the ugly ones say? "Make your acquisition for the sake of Heaven, as long as you decorate us with jewels" (Talmud, Taanit 31a).
"The Lubavitcher Rebbe explains that the marriage of G-d and His people also includes these three categories of "brides": the souls of Israel include "beautiful" souls, souls "of prestigious lineage," and "ugly" souls,3 each of whom contribute their own unique dimension to our relationship with G-d."
"There are two types of love, say the Chassidic masters. There is a love that is generated by the person's own mind and heart, when s/he meditates on the greatness and desirability of a person (or thing, or state) and thereby develops feelings of love and attraction to him/her/it. Then there is an inborn love: a love that a person has not created himself -- indeed, he may be unaware that he possesses it -- but which resides in his heart from birth, a natural bond and attraction to something that is implanted in his soul by virtue of who and what he is.
"You shall love G-d" (Deuteronomy 6:5) is a crucial component of our relationship with the Almighty. Aside from the fact that loving G-d is itself a mitzvah (Divine commandment), it is also a prerequisite for the proper observance of all the mitzvot. As Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi elaborates in his Tanya, mitzvot which are not motivated by a love of G-d are performed mechanically and erratically; only one who loves G-d serves Him in a manner that is both integral and enduring."
"Do for Your sake, if not for ours,"4 call the "ugly" souls of Israel. Take us as Your own, despite our appearance, because only You know what lies behind our appearance, and only You know the truth of what You can inspire in us. For You know that, in truth, "The daughters of Israel are beautiful, it is only that poverty obscures their beauty."5 You know that our "ugliness" is not our true essence, but imposed upon us by the spiritual poverty of galut.
If we have failed to realize our potential for beauty and fruitfulness, then it is left to You to "decorate us with jewels" -- to shower us with the gifts that will waken our quintessential bond to You and bring to light our innate perfection."
My note: This rabbi saw a connection to both the Messiah and marriage as the ultimate fulfillment of Tu B'Av. Though modern Judaism is perplexed as to why Tu B'Av should be considered one of the most important festivals, in ancient times it was nevertheless considered to be so. This rabbi unknowingly taught that Tu B'Av should be considered important for reasons that only make sense to the modern Christian in light of the rapture.

"More on Tu B'Av... Prophecies about the Messiah... Natural Disasters"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If, as I have written, some modern rabbis see a connection between Tu B'av, the messiah, and the Song of Solomon then it seems perfectly logical to associate it with the rapture of the bride. Earlier I wrote that when the tribe of Benjamin was allowed to participate in the celebration, the word "harpazo" was used in the scripture. That one word alone should convince us that it is an important holiday to watch for the rapture.
Certainly I will watch the end of July, as it might be the true time for observing Pentecost, but I also have to watch closely the date for Tu B'av. Just as I will watch for the passing of Ariel Sharon. Remember that rabbi Kaduri who died at the age of 108, prophesied that the Messiah would come after Ariel Sharon died. Ariel Sharon is still lingering in a coma. Kaduri said the Messiah would "lift the people". See the video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=eATJ4PRXEJk
Also note that besides revealing the name of the Messiah in an anagram and the timing of His coming after the passing of Ariel Sharon, rabbi Kaduri also prophesied natural disasters:
"In the future, the Holy One, Blessed be He, will bring about great disasters in the countries of the world to sweeten the judgements of the Land of Israel."
“I am ordering the publication of this declartion as a warning, so that Jews in the countries of the world will be aware of the impending danger and will come to the Land of Israel for the buliding of the Temple and revelation of our righteous Mashiach (Messiah).”
Here is another video about the rabbi's prediction about the Messiah:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBmhkr_TdY8&feature=player_detailpage
Ariel Sharon suffered a stroke in January 2006, about a month before Kaduri died. Now we watch and wait and pray.

"WOW! Great teaching on Tu B'Av! Please, please watch."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow! I found this teaching about Tu B'Av and listened to the whole thing. It is 62 minutes long, but I paid especial attention to the section 49:56 to about 52:50.
http://www.naaleh.com/viewclass/2635/single/audio/
This is long and challenging to listen to because she talks very fast. But she does talk about all the things I had dealt with in my other posts on Five Doves concerning Tu B'Av. The section that I pointed to above was so interesting to me because she emphasized that the most important difference between Tu B'Av and the other Jewish holidays is that while other days only commemorate a past event, Tu B'Av (while it does celebrate leaving the graves and entering the promised land) is forward looking to something in the future and finds its ultimate fulfillment in that future event!!!! In other sections she explains that is also the one Jewish holiday that women an important key role.
I would also recommend that you listen to the last two minutes. IF this is the year...IF this is the season... this might be the long awaited Jewish festival to watch most closely for the rapture of the bride!
Oh, dear Lord please give us confirmation. Amen.

"Bruce Wigton re Av 9"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi John and Doves,
Bruce, your post: -
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2011/bwigton723.htm
I don't claim to know what is going to happen, or what the palm branches symbolise (Must be something) but all I do know is that the LORD gave me a definite message regarding the Christchurch earthquake of
22nd February 2011.
i.e.: 22.2.
The 222nd day of the year is Av 10.
This date is significant as it has never left me. It sticks in my head. I wanted our blessed hope, the Rapture, to happen before then so tried to figure out a 'short cut'. I have no idea when the Rapture will occur but I do know that's it's as close as can be. I am determined not to doubt anymore, so am sticking by what our LORD said to me, the night before the Christchurch earthquake. The message was (not in human words - more instinct than anything else) that ' Tomorrow - something will happen that will point you towards the Rapture'. That same 'tomorrow' brought news of the Christchurch earthquake.
We all grow weary of this world. I have got to the stage where I cannot take any joy in anything worldly, anymore. I plough on because that's what we're instructed to do. My heart just ain't in it, though!!
Persevere.
God Bless us all
In Jesus' Beloved Name

"John Clark, Uni-Kidney and the 9th of Av"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In response to John Clark, it was great to read your testimony. I too am a member of the uni-kidney club. My tumor (also stage III and 6cm) was also found by “chance”. At the same time, we experienced financial disaster and loss of income for 2-1/2 years. We also lost insurance etc. I can absolutely say though that HE is Faithful beyond measure!!!! And we are blessed beyond measure. We can only see His true faithfulness during times of testing.
Now, since this is really a rapture site, I offer the following:
On the 9th of Av, (August 9 this year) several disasters have occurred for Israel. This is kept as a solemn fast day in remembering the disasters. The generation of Jews that left Egypt was condemned to die in the desert after their response to the spies report. Apparently, the Jews didn’t realize that the dying had stopped until another 6 days had passed, 39 years later. (They had apparently not realized that God had counted the first year of the exile as year 1 of the curse.) They celebrated the end of dying on the 15th of Av. The first two temples were also destroyed on this date. I find it interesting that since the Church Age began on Pentecost, the “New Temple” is our bodies. Could it be that the Church Age would end on the same disaster day by a loss of the “New Temple”?
I have another question for Doves. In Revelation 7.9 where John sees the people standing before the throne (and according to word studies, these have to be “raptured believers – NOT souls of those that were martyred during the tribulation.), they are carrying palm branches. My question is where did they get the palm branches and why are they holding them. I have a few ideas but would like to hear what others think.

"Things to happen in order?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Doves:
My co-worker emailed me today saying that someone he knows received a message from the Lord
about things to happen in order very soon.
A great earthquake
War between Israel and Iran
Departure
Korean War
There is no way to know it's truly from the Lord, but it seems to fit with the coming Jewish dates of
Av 1, Av 9 and Av 15 which are all connected in my opinion.
Here is my speculation.
1) Previously, I made a connection between the three Solar Eclipses on Av 1 and Luke 13:6-9.
If this assumption is right, the coming Av 1 is the last day of an extended 1 year, and a Judgment
(a great earthquake in the States?) could come anytime after Av 1.
2) It's very possible that Iran tries to take an advantage of chaotic situation in the States and to attack
Israel on Tisha B'Av, the sorrowful day of Israel, when most Israelis fast. Remember the Yom Kippur
War in 1973? Most Israelis were fasting on that day. The same pattern could be repeated on Tisha
B'Av, but this time Israel could be ready for it and strikes first.
3) I'm very much convinced by the passionate persuation of Bruce Baber(Five Doves) claiming that
Tu B'Av is a parallel of the Rapture.
4) The North Korea and Iran are very close, and it's very likely that the war breaks out in the Korean
peninsula when Iran is involved in the war.
If this speculation is right, the coming Rosh Hashanah could be the beginning of the Tribulation.
See you soon,
Elliot

"Further thoughts on Tu B'Av"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 15th of Av, celebrated in Israel as a sweetheart's day, a good day for weddings.
Based on the Biblical story of how the small remnant of Benjamin, left from war between
the other tribes and Benjamin, "snatched" their brides on this day.
The story tell us that the other tribes of Israel had nearly wiped out the tribe of Benjamin
in vengeance for a crime committed by some Benjamites. The other Israelites had
promised never to let their daughter marry men of Benjamin, but now they realized,
after the slaughter, that there were only 600 men of Benjamin left, and very few brides
available for even these 600. How to provide Jewish brides for this remnant, and not
break their vow to not give brides to Benjamin?
It was the custom for the virgins to dance in a festival, near a forest, on the 15th of Av,
in praise of the Lord. This was not a pagan festival, according to scripture, but "dancing
to the Lord."
The Israelite elders figured that if the men of Benjamin hid near where the dancing occurred,
they could "snatch" brides from among the dancers. Thus Benjamin could be preserved.
One interesting thing is that the girls dancing were from all the other tribes, so the men of
Benjamin would be marrying wives from all the tribes. This is interesting, to realize that
this day provided a "snatching" from among ALL the tribes, according to the story. Thus
Benjamin became a tribe which was related more closely to all other tribes.
If the Lord were to snatch his Church on this day, he would be taking them from all the
tribes which exist in the world, wherever there are saints who follow Him. His bride would
thus be made up of white, black, yellow, red, and brown people. Many of these people
probably do have "Jewish genes" from way way back. Most of us have these genes, and
can trace their probable descent or actual descent, and there are stories of Jews wandering
far into every corner of the world, even to China, in ancient as well as modern times. So
the wanderers to many lands will be among the Bride of Christ who are redeemed at the
rapture. Glory to God if this happens on Tu B'Av.

"REDEMPTION DRAWING VERY NIGH..LOOK UP"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember the 21 days delay experienced by Daniel, the prophet which is recorded in chapter 10 of his book? It was occasioned by YHWH not “showing up” on time when the time was to end for the Babylonian captivity of his people, Israel. Jeremiah the prophet had distinctly written in chapter 29 and verse 31 that the length of the captivity was to be 70 years. Daniel was taken into the captivity on his 17th birthday and now, he was 87 years old, and it was his birthday! Where are you YHWH was his plaint.
Instead of getting angry, faithful Daniel, who knew that YHWH does not lie, gathered his friends and they all went to prayer and fasted. After a FULL 21 days, he was given a vision in which he saw Michael, the archangel, and I believe, the pre-incarnate Christ. In a brief summary, these two told him that from the first day of prayer, he was heard in heaven and they began to come to him to explain the release of the captives. However, they were DELAYED these 21 days because of the fierce opposition of the satanic prince of Persia, an archangel of the devil. During the vision visitation, Daniel experienced death, resurrection and change (rapture) as, I believe, an Old Testament type of what we are to experience when Jesus comes for His Bride.
NOT ONLY THAT, BUT I THINK THE 21 DAYS EXPERIENCE WILL BE REPEATED JUST BEFORE THE RAPTURE EVENT.
That being said, I was looking at July 31/August 1 of this year as “true Pentecost”. I felt that this time would be excellent as the time of the removal of the saints. I am not certain that this is not still valid. I’ll explain.
Using July 31/August 1 as the expected rapture time, if one adds 21 days to that the expanded date is August 20/21. As you probably know August 9 is the Black Fast day, Tisha B’Av. It is the blackest day in Jewish history, and the world history too, for that matter. This is followed by Tu B’Av, the gloriously happy “valentine’s” day for them date. This may begin a 7 day “call into the ark” for the Bride, which will extend to August 21.
There are three 7’s in 21 days. From day 1-7; day 8-14; day 15-21.
Each of these counts falls on:
1. Pentecost
2. Black Fast, Tisha B’Av
3. Tu B’Av
Beginning with the 22nd day of August and continuing to the rise of the A/C when he proclaims himself equal with God is 234 days.
So to recap, IF the start date was July 31/August 1, 2011, “true Pentecost” then 21 days later, divided by 7 representing the raven and doves sent out of the ark??, the days would hit Pentecost, Black Fast, and “Valentines Day” with only and exactly 7 days left. This period would be the call into the ark for the Bride with August 21/22 being the day of departure. If this is correct, only and exactly 234 days (Vincent Tan’s number) remain until the rise of the A/C.
May YHWH get all the Glory for the things He hath done.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people; And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

"Tu B'Av preceded by a meteor shower that was first seen in 36 A.D."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The most famous of all the meteor showers is the annually observed Perseid meteor shower.
On August 15th (possibly August 16th due to the timing of the siting of the new moon?) there is the celebration of Tu B'Av. I think the Perseid meteor shower will be visible to the naked eye on the nights of August 13th & 14th. According to wikipedeia, "The Perseid meteor shower has been observed for about 2000 years, with the earliest information on this meteor shower coming from the Far East."
"The earliest record of Perseid activity comes from the Chinese annals, where it is said that in 36 AD "more than 100 meteors flew thither in the morning." (source: meteorshowers.com / emphasis added).
The annual Perseid meteor shower is interesting, but not frightening. Life as normal. Yet when we consider it was first observed in 36 A.D. there might be good reason to think there is something significant about it.
Matthew 24 says:
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
This passage indicates to me the rapture. If it referred to the second coming, no one would be acting normally!
Signs in the heavens? Mankind behaving as normal? Is there something going on here?
Just something to think about.

"For Joe Chappell re: 15 Av history"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello John, Joe C and others with curiousity about 15th Av, Aug 15, 2011.
Here is a bit more history on Tu B'Av:
"Fair use for educational and discussion purposes"
From Link Rabbi Chaim Richman
"It was on this day that the tribe of Benjamin was reinstated into the ranks of Israel.
It was on this day that the generation of the desert, which was condemned to die in the desert before the children of Israel could enter into the Land, stopped dying in the last year. During all those years that the decree was in effect, Moses did not receive the spirit of prophecy. But on this day, the fifteenth of Av, as soon as the decree was finished, G-d once again spoke with Moses."
"one of the major themes of the holiday of Tu B'Av is unity amongst the Jewish people. This day also marks the conclusion of the cycle of retribution experienced during Tammuz and the first part of Av, and begins the new cycle of renewal, consolation and repentance, leading towards the High Holy Days. A tradition is also recorded that there is a direct connection between this day, and the future building of the Third Temple...."
and another story: Link"Fair use for educational and discussion purposes"
"Raba bar bar Chana explains in the name of Rabbi Yochanan that, as the Torah records, the adult Jews who departed from Egypt had a Divine decree placed on them that they were to die before their children entered the land of Israel. This was a punishment for the Sin of the Spies, which caused the Jewish people to lose faith in G-d and His Promised Land. The nation knew that the deaths related to this decree occurred annually on the 9th of Av. Each year, every man in the age group destined to die would dig a grave for himself and lie down in it on the eve on the 9th of Av. All those who remained alive come the close of the 9th of Av would get up, and repeat the same actions the next year. In the 40th year, everyone arose. Seeing that no one had died, they thought that they might have erred in their calculation of the date, so they returned to their graves every night until the night of the 15th. On the 15th, they saw the full moon that indicated that their calculations were correct, and still no one had died. The decree was over, and there was cause for celebration.
Furthermore, the Talmud tells us that as long as those destined to die were still alive, the Divine Communication between G-d and Moses was on a lower and less personal level, to the extent that the Talmud considers it "no Divine Communication". Once the 15th of Av passed and it was confirmed that the decree was no longer, G-d resumed speaking to Moses as he had before the enactment of the decree. As this communication was for the benefit of Israel, the day it returned was a day of rejoicing and celebration.
So, in essence, the Talmud is teaching us that Tu B'Av is the celebration of our return to G-d's favor and the restoration of our total "love relationship" with G-d to its former glory.
This is a quality that is shared with the Day of Atonement. We are taught that on Yom Kippur, Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the second set of Tablets with the Ten Commandments written on them, signifying G-d's forgiveness of His beloved Jewish people and a complete atonement for the Sin of the Golden Calf."
Maybe the Jewish people will be looking around, checking their family each day after the rapture to see if they are still there, alive, and then realize that God is speaking to them again
Blessings to you all, Regina
