Subject: Is the sign of Jonah now here, proclaiming the 2nd Coming of Christ?

In Matthew 16:4, Jesus says, to the Pharisees and Sadducees, representing the non-believers, "A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall no sign be given unto it, BUT THE SIGN OF THE PROPHET, JONAH."

In Luke 11:29--32, Jesus says, "This is an evil generation: they seek after a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, BUT THE SIGN OF JONAH, THE PROPHET. For as Jonah was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man (Jesus) be to this generation...The men of Ninevah shall rise up IN THE JUDGMENT with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah."

We know from other verses that the sign of Jonah, that Jesus was the Messiah at His First Coming, was Jesus being in the grave three days and three nights, even as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights.

However, when studying the Word of God, one of the principles used is the "double reference" principle. Many Scriptures have a near-future and a far-future fulfillment. Luke 11:29--32 above, may be one of those Scriptures. It is likely referring to the 1st Coming of Christ and the 2nd Coming of Christ. Evidence of this is when Jesus said, "The men of Ninevah shall rise up IN THE JUDGMENT.

In the story of Jonah, the evil people of Ninevah were given FORTY DAYS TO REPENT, OR FACE SUDDEN DESTRUCTION. If the "sign of Jonah" also refers to this evil and adulterous generation at the 2nd Coming of Christ, is it not possible, even likely, that this SIGN OF JONAH COULD BE A FORTY DAY WARNING TO REPENT OR FACE SUDDEN DESTRUCTION?

The 9.0 Japan earthquake/tsunami, and resulting, and ongoing nuclear radiation cataclysm has God's fingerprints written all over it:

1. It registered EXACTLY 9 points on the Richter scale. Nine is the number of finality and divine completeness from the Lord. Could God have "divinely completed" his warnings to this evil and adulterous generation on Mar. 11th, with this GREAT EARTHQUAKE? Could this have been the world's "final" warning?

2. March 11, 2011, the date of the Japan earthquake and tsunami, was EXACTLY one year from the day that Japan denounced Israel.

3. The earthquake, like so many catastrophes, happened on the 11th of a month. The 1260-day Great Tribulation will begin on the ELEVENTH of April in 2012. Eleven is the number of judgment and disorder. What a perfect description of the Sudden Destruction, which will accompany the Rapture.

4. The Sudden Destruction, which is typified by the Sudden Destruction on Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot's Escape on the very same day of the Sudden Destruction typifies the Rapture on the very same day as the Sudden Destruction. There was no escape for the people caught up in the tsunami. There was no escape for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. In both cases, the Destruction was Sudden, totally unexpected. Even thus, shall it be in the day the Son of Man (Jesus) is revealed, according to the Word of God.

5. This GREAT EARTHQUAKE, which is prophesied by Jesus as one of the Final signs, happened very near the end of the gestation period of the probable 3rd and Final watch, which started on July 11, 2010. Is the baby, the Sudden Destruction/Rapture about to be born? See my last post:

6. According to Perry Stone, this GREAT EARTHQUAKE of 9.0 shifted the earth's axis 10 centimeters, the EXACT same distance that a woman dilates before delivering her baby. Is that awesome, or what?

7. This catastrophic Japan 9.0 earthquake/tsunami has resulted in a gigantic nuclear radiation disaster, and has now been updated from a 5 to a 7 on the warning level chart, which is the highest alert level possible. At the time of the Rapture, there is likely to be a nuclear explosion, causing much worse nuclear radiation problems, than what we have now with this Japan earthquake.

Will it be the beginning of nuclear World War III (the destruction of Damascus, Syria, and possibly other cities and countries)? Will it be further nuclear destruction from the Japan situation? Will it be nuclear destruction from the GREAT EARTHQUAKE of Revelation 6, that causes EVERY mountain and EVERY island to be moved out of their place? Can you imagine the massive devastation and multitude of major problems that the damaged nuclear reactors from this earthquake of Rev. 6 will cause?

The Bride has received several warnings concerning the timing of the 2nd Coming of Christ. But Jesus seems to be telling the World, the unsaved, that the only sign given to them, will be SIGN OF JONAH. In light of all of the above fingerprints of God that are written all over the 9.0 Japan earthquake/tsunami and resulting and worsening nuclear contamination problems, we must ask ourselves the following question: WAS THIS GREAT EARTHQUAKE A FORTY-DAY WARNING BEFORE THE SUDDEN DESTRUCTION???


CAN ALL OF THESE FINGERPRINT MARKERS OF GOD THAT SEEM TO BE WRITTEN ALL OVER THIS CATACLYSMIC EARTHQUAKE/TSUNAMI, AND RESULTING TERRIFYING NUCLEAR RADIATION PROBLEMS BE JUST A COINCIDENCE. CAN IT BE JUST A COINCIDENCE THAT THIS GREAT EARTHQUAKE HAPPENED 40 DAYS BEFORE FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS, AND A POSSIBLE FIRSTFRUITS RAPTURE, ACCOMPANIED BY THE GREAT ESCAPE, THE RAPTURE OF THE BRIDE? 1. The Japan 9.0 Great Earthquake/tsunami, and worsening nuclear radiation catastrophe--A 40-day warning?

2. The blood red moon total lunar eclipse on the winter solistice of Jan 21, 2010--A 120-day warning? (My apologies for listing this a solar eclipse, and not a lunar ecipse, in my previous post). The number 120 is the number of a DIVINELY-APPOINTED period of probation. Let that sink in.

3. The ongoing cataclysm of the Gulf Oil disaster on Apr. 20, 2010--A 1--Year warning?

4. The Shoemaker--Levy Comet striking Jupiter, with numerous fingerprints of God written all over it, happening EXACTLY 17 prophetic years before Apr. 19--20, 2011. The number 17 means "the testimony of completeness or victory (the Rapture?) and is a VERY prominent number in Scripture.

5. There are at least one dozen specific and ominous signs, ALL pointing to the very same day this year. And for that specific day to be Tues.--Wed., Apr. 19--20th, Feast of Firstfruits, for the possible Firstfruits Rapture/Resurrection/Sudden Destruction, is amazing and compelling, to say the least. This is the day that our Lord and Saviour was resurrected. Is this the day of the Bride's Resurrection? Lora Shipley has been sending last year's detailed and excellent study of the Rapture on Feast of Firstfruits to www.fivedoves.com in several posts. Read them, or at least save the links for those left behind at the time of the Rapture/Sudden Destruction.

Would we have this much excitement and anticipation if this Great Earthquake had happened 100 days, or 50 days, or 30 days before Feast of Firstfruits. Although these are prominent Biblical numbers, the answer is a resounding "NO". 40 is the number of trial, testing, and probation. AND 40 IS A NUMBER OF WARNING!!! And 40 is an extremely prominent number in the Bible. Examine the partial list of the number 40 below:

1. THE PEOPLE OF NINEVAH WERE WARNED 40 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF AN IMPENDING SUDDEN DESTRUCTION. IS THE JAPAN EARTHQUAKE/TSUNAMI, AND ESCALATING NUCLEAR RADIATION DISASTER THE WORLD'S 40-DAY WARNING BEFORE THE MUCH WORSE NUCLEAR RADIATION DISASTER, THE SUDDEN DESTRUCTION AND RESULTING ESCAPE, THE RAPTURE???

2. Forty years Moses was in the land of Egypt, forty years in the desert, and forty years in the service of the Lord, for a total of one hundred twenty years.

3. Saul had forty years in which to prove himself worth of the people's choice.

4. In the Noahic Great Flood, it rained forty days and forty nights upon the earth.

5. Forty days Moses was up in the mountain for the transcript of the law.

6. Forty days the spies were in the land.

7. Jesus was tested forty days in the wilderness.

8. Forty years the people of Israel were forced to wander in the wilderness.

9. Jesus was forty days on the earth with his disciples, after His resurrection.

10. Forty years after the crucifixion, came the destruction of Jerusalem.

11. Forty centuries after Adam came the fulness of time. When the fulness of time had come, the world had been tested. Man had failed, so God sent His Son for the 1st Coming of Christ. Will this same God, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, NOW send His Son FORTY DAYS AFTER THE GREAT EARTHQUAKE TO SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM SUDDEN DESTRUCTION??

With at least one dozen MAJOR signs seeming to point directly at Feast of Firstfruits, Apr. 19--20, 2011, we MUST look at this date as a HIGH ALERT RAPTURE/SUDDEN DESTRUCTION possibility. As a Biblical watchman, I must warn you of this very High Alert time. Take heed people, and take a very serious look at your relationship with the Lord, and we all need to pray once again like Jesus admonishes the end-times Christians to pray. These are the words of Jesus to us, in Luke 21:34--36:

"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (partying), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day
come upon you unawares. For as a snare (trap), shall it come on all them who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch, ye therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of man (Jesus)."
