It does not need to be a political scientist to predict that any sort of color revolution in Ethiopia is an outdated fasion. It can not be materialized any more as it has already aborted quite early demaging the very womb that was supposed to hold it for any future possibilities. One has to wait at least for 5 years to see if this very "tree" will bud any sort of "flower" if any. The the futile attempt for the "Orange" and "Rose" revolutions authered by Red Terror expeert Negedie Gobezie and was adopted by the CUD leadership unanimosly are crushed just last june at its infancy age.
I do not know if you, the CUD people, have now an "Adey" revolution remaining in your archives to be tried using religious activities as a cover. I could not understand why the CUD people always try to drag the Ethiopian Orthodox church into a crises of politics. It is practically impposible in todays Ethiopia to mix up religion with politics. We remeber the very leader of the CUD, the arrogant and master mind of all failures in Ethiopia Mesfin W.mariam has once said, "the is no Amhara group. We say Islam neh Amara". He was justifying to say Amhara means Orthox. The notorous "Aba Likskis" of the EPRP in the 1983-85EC is another recent attempt.
Our religions are so personal which belongs to groups of society or may be in some cases to individuals, but on the contrary our politics is communual. Hence we need to do an atmost care not to mix up those two immiscible ingredients and refrain from such type futile attempt that may end up in hurting our religions in the first place. All our religions should stay out of politics and the politics should as well stay away from them. They should be places only for worshiping. We have already 70 plus political parties in our country. Why do we need to add our religions to this already inflated number?
Why you the CUD people do not try on other days if you have the gut to do any? You tried with so many hidden attempts. All are uncovered. You have attempted to mislead the EU-observation team even though it is not bearing any fruit as to your dreams except it may worsen the miscery of the Ethiopian people.
Please please at least do not use the church.
Basically what ever attempt is the same and the gov't has to stay ready as usual to cool any unconstitutional attempt at any time in any place. The time for power graping based on so many talks has already expired before 14 years.
Do not forget trying the church as a cover is a great crime both on earth and on the sky. Your punishments will be doubled. You better try at least with the earthy one if you have to try your chance once and for all.
