I'm not sure what to say

I am an Army brat...therefore, I really don't know what to tell people when they ask where I'm from. I was born in France, my father was American and my mother English. I have lived in France, Utah, Germany (twice), Maryland, California, Kansas, Missouri and Texas. And I love to travel...have been to England, Scotland, Wales, Mexico, Canada, Finland, Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Czech Republic, the USSR (Russia, Latvia, and Estonia), Guatemala, Honduras and Belize. And I have too many funny travel stories to know where to begin.

Holly, as you know, I'm inspired by your blogging. I love to read what you have to write and hope you continue to share your life and thoughts with others.

At the moment I am from Otley, England but that will change in June

I lived in Japan for a couple years while I was in the military. I've been to Korea, Scotland to run a marathon, Wales, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. Oh, I went on a couple missionary trips to Mexico and since I grew up in PA I naturally have visited Canada.

Holly, you are so good with the written word. I wish I could say I've kept a journal for 22 years. I always make the mistake of reading them and then tossing them in the rubbish bin because I think to myself "how dumb was I to feel or think that way!!!"

Holly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics of Ryan...He sure has grown. My faves are the one of your two shadows, and the one of him inside the slide at Las Vegas. Also, I think it's cool that you can find such a site as JKR's and hear the thoughtful things she has to say! I am still new to this blogging thing, and only got into it b/c I saw you doing it three years ago. Good thing it wasn't crack, huh? Anyway, seriously, I'm having a good time sharing my baby details with friends and family and am seriously inspired by YOUR own work of the same! Love, shelly
