The Bible tells us that Lucifer, which means "Light Bearer" became so prideful of all that Yahuah made in him that he began to believe he was like the very One who had made him. For that sin of Pride, he was thrown out of heaven but before he left, he had convinced 1/3 of the angels of heaven to follow him. He promised them things he could never deliver. So now, he is down in this earth and wants to get back to where he was and even to greater heights.
Isaiah 14 speaks of the 5 point plan of Lucifer, now known as the Devil. He is no longer "The Light Bearer".
“I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
