The congregation of the Children of Israel was huge. Moses and his brother Aaron were commanded to lead them. Soon, the household of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram began to complain. They were jealous that only certain men got to approach God as priests. They began to lead a rebellion against Moses. Dathan and Abiram, were the descendants of Reuben, the oldest son of Jacob who lost his Stick of leadership due to the rape of his own sister. That leadership went to Judah. Moses and Aaron were of the tribe of Judah.

They accused Moses of making a Prince of himself over the people. So, what did Moses do? He told them that the next day they should show up with all of their families and their men should put incense into their censurs and appear before the Tabernacle. Let God chose who the rightful priest are before Him.

"He was angry with them and prayed to the Lord, " Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them."

The next day, at the command of Moses, these men and their families gathered in front of the Tabernacle. Two Hundred and Twenty censurs with insense was burning. Aaron and his family also gathered with their censurs burning. How did God deal with them? He had them separate into two groups. Then God caused the ground to open and all of Korah, Dathan and Abiram's group fell into the pit alive.

God had chosen the household of Aaron to become the Holy Priesthood before the Lord. Look what verse 40 says.

40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

This brings us to a very important subject which deals with the priesthood of the Temple.

The Land of Israel divided into the Northern House apart from the South House of Judah. The Apostate Dan was the leader of this Northern group. They built their own tabernacle and assigned their own priests, which was strictly forbidden. In fact, the two sons of Moses, with his Midianite wife, became priests to the apostate tribe of Dan.

And we know that out of Dan, who mixed with other Apostate Tribes, not of Israel, would become the Ante-Christ. Moses spoke of it and so did Jacob speak over his son Dan concerning this matter. The A/C would have the blood of the Assyrian, Roman, Greek, Hebrew and Seed of Satan. So, we can see that he seems to be a mixture of all these blood-lines that wants to get back that which was lost to him.

Within 400 years after Moses, the tribe vanished. However Jacob, patriarch of the nation, predicted Dan's destiny. In Genesis 49, we are told that he gathered his sons around his bed and prophesied of what would befall each tribe in the last days. Gen. 49:1. Of Dan, he said, "Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward." Gen. 49:16-17.


If Jethro, the Father-in-law of Moses was a true priest of the One True God of Israel, as some claim, then why would his two sons, not also have been true priests? Because Jethro was not an Israelite nor a priest of Israel. He was a priest of his own god among the Midianites.

The Midianites were Kenites, although much more friendly to Israel than other Arabic tribes. Jethro did not come to accept YHVH as his god until long after Moses had told him what YHVH had done for them. His two sons were 1/2 Hebrew 1/2 Kenites living in the Land of Midian. Their offspring today are those that claim to be true priest but are making false claims. Christ/Yahusha said they were of the Synagogue of Satan.

No matter how we may sympathize with one group or another, The Great I am Who I Am has laid down the Law and that is the way The Bible tells it.
