Joe Biden threatened Russia with a cyber-attack in a televised interview on Friday, while Russian television warned citizens to prepare bomb shelters and check their gas masks. “We’re sending a message,” Biden warned. “We have the capacity to do it. A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 23:14 on Saturday in northwestern Greece. According to the Geodynamics Institute of the Athens Observatory the quake's epicenter was located 12 km northwest of the city of Ioannina with 5km depth. A series of aftershocks measuring 4.4 to 4.9 on the Richter scale did not allow the residents of Ioannina to return to their houses.

Kuwait ruler dissolves parliament: official news agency
Kuwait's emir ordered the dissolution of parliament on Sunday, saying regional developments and "security challenges" meant the national assembly should choose fresh representatives. The order was contained in a decree by Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah published by the Gulf Arab state's official KUNA state news agency. The agency had no further details. Elections now need to be held under constitutional rules.

Russia's Rosneft, partners to invest around $12.9 billion in India's Essar Oil: CEO
A group led by Russian oil major Rosneft (ROSN.MM) will invest around $12.9 billion in India's Essar Oil ESRO.CL, Chief Executive Igor Sechin told reporters on Saturday. Sechin said a refinery and port owned by the Indian firm were worth around $10 billion and $2.9 billion respectively. India and Russia signed a deal on Saturday to pave the way for a group led by Rosneft to acquire Essar.
