What is mentioned here, which I believe nearly all of us have not considered is about the End Day's King. Notice that verse 6 tells us that a person, which no one on earth expected, will come to power. That means, while we may think the A/C will be this person or that person, the Word tells us it will be someone that no one even expected. Could that be because it is the one that come out of the Abyss? Will it be the king over the Pit that was once the King over the First Babylonian Kingdom? Perhaps, this is what it means? I don't know but it is something that has been considered yet we, in our days, don't know him. Another thing it mentions is that The Dead Sea will cast out fish.

I know there is the belief that one day the Dead Sea will be fresh again and it is now drying up very quickly which is concern to both Israel and Jordan because it holds nearly all of the minerals that are needed on earth within it's waters.

Question, I ask, "Was this Dead Sea at one time a Fresh Water Sea before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra?"

According to the Torah, the kingdoms of Sodom and Gomorrah were allied with the cities of Admah, Zeboim and Bela. These five cities, also known as the "cities of the plain", (from Genesis in the Authorized Version) were situated on the Jordan River plain in the southern region of the land of Canaan. The plain, which corresponds to the area just north of the modern-day Dead Sea, was compared to the garden of Eden[Gen.13:10] as being a land well-watered and green, suitable for grazing livestock. So, according to the above description if was part of the Fertile Plain.

If the verse in II Esdra is saying the Dead Sea will cast out fish; could this be speaking of the unclean spirits of those that perished when the cities were destroyed? This is not such an outlandish thought since the god of the Philistines was Dagon, The Fish God.

5 “But about the signs: Look, the days will come when those who live on earth will be seized with great terror. The way of truth will be hidden, and the land will be barren and devoid of faith. 2 Injustice will be multiplied beyond what you yourself see and beyond what you have heard of formerly. 3 The land that you now see holding sway will have no one left to walk upon it, and people will see it desolate. 4 But if the Most High grants that you live, you will see it thrown into confusion after the third period of time. The sun will suddenly start shining by night and the moon by day. 5 Blood will drip from wood, and stones will speak out. Peoples will be troubled, and natural courses will be changed. 6 A person no one on earth expected will come to power, and birds will migrate together. 7 The sea of Sodom will cast up fish; it will utter sounds in a voice that many don’t know, but all will hear its voice. 8 Chasms will open up in many places, and fire will be shot forth frequently. Wild beasts will roam beyond their territory, and women will give birth to monsters. 9 Salt waters will be found in sources of freshwater. Friends everywhere will begin to fight each other. Reason will be hidden, and intelligence will go into hiding. 10 Many will look for it, but they won’t find it, and injustice and lust will be multiplied on earth. 11 One country will ask its neighbor, ‘Has justice passed through you, doing what is right?’ and the answer will be no. 12 At that time people will hope but not get what they hoped for; they will labor, but they will make no progress.

6 A person no one on earth expected will come to power, and birds will migrate together. 7 The sea of Sodom will cast up fish; it will utter sounds in a voice that many don’t know, but all will hear its voice. 8 Chasms will open up in many places, and fire will be shot forth frequently. Wild beasts will roam beyond their territory, and women will give birth to monsters.

The issue of women giving birth to monsters is also being discussed as we now hear of the wicked path that Trans-humanism has taken. Just the other day we heard of the 3 DNA brought together to create a baby. This is not of the Creator but the manipulation of men.
