Magnitude-4.5 earthquake hits remote Northern California
A light earthquake has shaken a remote section of Northern California. The quake was felt 100 miles away in Eureka, but there are no reports of damages or injuries. The magnitude-4.5 quake struck at 2:20 p.m. Sunday about 60 miles west of Redding near the small towns of Hayfork and Mad River.
