Explosions heard in Brussels as huge fire rips through Belgian capital
AN EXPLOSION has rocked the Saint-Gilles area of the Belgian capital Brussels. Firemen tackled a huge fire in Brussels after one or two explosions – possible as many as three – were reportedly heard in the area. The fire is less than two miles from the European Parliament and three miles from the European Commission offices.

3.0 quake hits St Thomas
The Earthquake Unit at the University of The West Indies, Mona Campus has reported that a 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck approximately 12km north of Hagley Gap, St Thomas early Wednesday morning. The unit said in a release that the earthquake, which had a depth was 5.3km, was felt about 5:00am. This is the fourth reported earthquake in the Caribbean since Saturday.
