7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

This is a topic that has been discussed so often. "Who are these two Olive Trees and Two Candlesticks"? It seems that there are two actual men, since it says "Two Prophets" in verse 10. Their actual identity probably won't be known for certainty until it takes place. There are just too many guess on that subject. But, I do think, perhaps....

They will represent the two groups that make up the Olive Tree, which we know has always been the insignia of True Israel and those that make up His ecclesia/church represented by the Menorah/Candlesticks.

In other words, the more we learn that it is The Lost House of Israel with it's ten tribes that Our Lord Yahusha came to save and sent his disciples unto, the more it appears that they are the both the Olive Tree and the Candlestick.

The Church is not a Gentile Church. The Love of God is so great that He didn't just limit His Salvation to His Chosen People but also to any Gentile that desired to become a part of Israel. The two make up His ecclesia.

Why two of each? How about those that were His Chosen before Salvation came to them and those that are His after He paid the price to open the Gates of Paradise once again?

On that note, I'd like to add how foolish the teaching have been that have gone around for centuries that the Dead of the Old Testament would not be raised until after a 1,000 year reign of Christ. These churches have taught that only those in Christ would be raised at the Resurrection. Why do they say that? Because they are so foolish as to restrict the term "Christ" to mean only New Testament when in fact "Christ/Yahusha" is the God of the Old Testament.

"Hear O' Israel, the Lord Thy God is One God." Deut. 6:4

"The Father and I are One." John 10:30
