Pre or Post Tribulation Rapture?

For sometime now, I've been watching the media, and Christian ministries, posting sermons and videos about the rapture, with back and forth arguments for and against the Pre-Tribulation Rapture scenario. Many believe that they will be raptured before tribulation. What does the bible say? If you read Rev. Chapter 6 & 7, you will see we go through hell on earth persecuted by the world before Jesus raptures us before the 7th seal is opened and then he sends down his wrath on the world. Many say its the 144,000 but this is false since Rev. 7:9-10 shows after the 144,000 are sealed that there are and I quote: "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands."

God is not a God of Confusion (1 Cor. 14:33), If God did not want us to Go through tribulation and persecution, then how come none of the Christians in Iraq are being Raptured at this very moment while they are being Murdered, Raped, and even their Kids Beheaded? When John was at Patmos, he said Rev. 1:9, "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation". Why was he not raptured? So please show scripture that actually says saved from tribulation? Not versus that talk about his coming, but literal words saying saved from the tribulation... Please explain these literal versus away:

Matt. 24:21-22, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

Tribulation, which is also persecution from the world will be so bad and the killing of Christians that he has to make it short or no one will survive... Thus he said there will be a remnant that will survive the persecution and tribulation from the world. Rom. 11:5, Rev. 11:13, Rev. 12:17

Here are many passages that are literal, not medaforacle, I need one verse, that is not medaforacle that actually says saved from tribulation to make the versus below obsolete:

Matt. 13:21, John 16:33, Acts 14:2, Rom. 5:3, Rom. 8:35, Rom. 12:12, 2 Cor. 1:4, 2 Cor. 7:4, Eph. 3:13, 1 Thess. 3:4, 2 Thess. 1:4, Rev. 1:9, Rev. 2:10

After the 6th seal is opened and all hell breaks lose then the rapture happens which is before the 7th seal which is the wrath of God

Rev. 7:14, "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

Many will give you medaforacle passages they twist to prove their points. But unless it actually says what they are relating it to, its all medaforacle so they can say see, there ya go. But the verses above are literal. Please explain them away?
