Concerning using the Name of God being so sacred that the Jews would not even use it. I would like to respond to that since we have learned so much once the Books of the Apocrypha were opened to us; especially Enoch, Jasher, I and II Adam and Eve. It is almost unbelievable how much truth has been hidden from the Believers. By time the 3rd century body of Believers had been accepted by the Roman Empire's Religion, they had accepted it's mixture of the pagan with the authentic teachings.

If Steven had not pursued these Truths, we may have gone on believing much the way we did for centuries but no more. We were promised the lies would be revealed and we see it taking place within the denominations now. We are in the End Days.

While we once believed this also, we now, know from the many teachings found on this site by Hebrew Believers that it was not because the Jews were afraid to use His Name but that they wanted to hide His Name. Moses was given the Name of God as "I Am that I Am". Code-Searcher is one who did an extensive study on this fallacy. Then when the Son of God came and His Name showed that He was the Son of Yahuah and He laid claim to the fact that He and the Father were One, action began to take place among the Rabbis. They saw people were following Him, they hid His Hebrew name.

The Greek Translators in cahoots with the Rabbis did much to hide their true names. The Greeks, in their writings, gave the name of Ja Zeus, which means son of Zeus. There is no J in the Hebrew Language. It would have been proper to leave His Name as it was given...one of the Yashua/Yahushua or similar spelling of that Hebrew name but they had an agenda which we now know was totally in keeping the pagan names used within the Roman Church, therefore the pagan gods got the worship they desired. The Jews hid the name of both the Father and Son. There has been almost complete deception that has been committed by those who wrote the Greek/English translations in regard to the Name. Lord is a title and actually means Baal.



This is on the subject of Hell:

For a few months, I had come to believe that upon judgment, the unrighteous Souls would just perish and be no more, while the Righteous have Eternal Life. Here is the paragraph that I had written based on SDA teaching.

Eternal Fire in Hell is not scriptural. There is no eternal suffering in a place of fire, tortured by demons. When someone, who will not believe on the Father and accept the Gift of Grace that He purchased for us that person, upon death, loses "Eternal Life". It is over for them at death.

Upon further reading and reconsideration, when I read scriptures such as these below, I cannot dismiss them as not meaning Eternal Punishment. While the body returns to dust, the Soul will live on and according to Isaiah, their worm shall not die. If they were just totally eliminated to be no more, there would be no Worm to continue on and on, never to die.

The writings of the Righteous Enoch also reveals so much truth that was kept under wraps by teaching the Believers that he was not credible. The Enoch that they were quoting was the Unrighteous Enoch from the Seed of Cain.

Isaiah 66:24 "They shall go forth; they shall gaze upon the dead bodies of those who have rebelled against Me; for their worm shall not die, nor shall their fire be quenched; they shall be an abhorrence to all mankind."

Also in Mark 9:44, "Where their worm never ceases and the fire is not put out."

Now, it appears that when Yahushua descended into Hell after He died; On the Third Day He arose and led the captive free. These led free were the Righteous Old Testament Saints who were waiting for their promised Redemption on the side called Abraham's Bosom. However, on the other side of the chasm, was the Hell of Torment.

Yahushua told about the Rich man who was in Hell (on the "burning, hot side of this place") and he is begging Father Abraham for a dip of cool water? I do not think Our Savior would use such a story to just make us afraid but to show to us that there really is Everlasting punishment for not following Him. Just as there are many levels of heaven, there are also many levels to Hell/Abyss. The time to make your very wise decision for Eternity is Now. You do not know if tomorrow will be yours. And there is no Purgatory where others can pay to have your Soul Redeemed.

When the teaching goes that the pagans of Rome under Constantine introduced the place known as Hell, this is not quite true. Yes, they knew about this place and have their many stories about it. They also know there is a Savior and know His Name but refuse to bow down to Him.

The last portion concerning the word, "Church", I concure with what is written. They were called ecclesia or Assembly but Church as not used except by pagans to refer to the Believers in the Messiah Yahushua.

Well, perhaps instead of relying on someone elses interpretation of scripture, you could find out yourself
That is what I did in 1983
I was a new Christian but I could not fathom that harshness of hell
So I asked God it hell was real that he would send me there
It is horrible
Everyone I have ever heard that has experienced this discribed certain aspects that do not change
It is horrible, it is eternal, there is no way out

If you can't take the bible litarly then what reason do you have to read it?

Welcome to the forum Frank. I absolutely agree with you. If hell isn't real or eternal, why did Jesus Christ suffer and die a horrible death on the cross as the payment for our sins? Instead, God could have just allowed us to die and suffer for a short time, as these proponents of Ultimate Reconciliation contend, and eventually all traces of sin would be gone. Wow, that kind of sounds similar to the heretical doctrine of Purgatory that comes from the Catholic Church, doesn't it? There are so many passages of scripture that makes it clear that those who die rejecting Jesus Christ's payment for our sins will spend eternity in the lake of fire! It doesn't matter if we don't like it, it only matters that God said it. God bless you Frank!

AND HERE IT IS!! I'm so glad I have read you like a "book"!! I was almost worried that you were sick or something because your "I absolutely agree with you" didn't get posted fast enough! I'm so glad you came through for me!

And I'm so glad that Bruce, and now Frank will stand "back-to-back" with you in attacking everything I post. But, that's quite alright with me. I expected it, and I expect more. But those who "hear" the truth will greatly rejoice, and it's those people for whom I post the "Good news" of the Gospel. (Going to hell isn't good news, if you haven't noticed).

God did say, "In this world ye will have tribulation", and He has made me strong enough to handle anything you all put forth.....

It's just really too bad that all the Christians spouting "You're going to hell" to so many people, that Christianity has been given a bad name. You would all LOVE to have God turn out just like Nebuchadnezzar....but, I thank God that He isn't like that....
