Shimon Peres still seeking spiritual solution to terrorism and Middle East conflict
In, June 2014...Shimon Peres flew to Rome where he joined Pope Francis and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in a united prayer service for peace...the Pope urged both leaders to...do their utmost to achieve peace in the Middle East. Last week, Peres traveled...to Paris on a similar quest...Peres was more intent on speaking to the spiritual leaders of the Jewish and Muslim communities of France.

Former Israeli intel chief: Russia remains in Syria, it will not abandon fight
Former military intelligence chief Amos Yadlin said...the Russian army remains in Syria and its forces are not abandoning the fight against Islamic State. Yadlin made the remarks at a cultural event in Beersheba, weeks after Russian President Vladimir Putin said that "the main part" of Russian armed forces in Syria would start to withdraw.

Report: Belgian nuclear guard murdered, security access badge stolen
Two days after bomb attacks at Brussels airport and on a packed metro...a security guard who worked at a Belgian nuclear plant was murdered and his pass was stolen, Belgian media reported on Saturday. The French language Derniere Heure (DH) newspaper reported the security guard's badge was de-activated as soon as it was discovered he had been shot dead in the Charleroi region of Belgium and his badge stolen.
