The subject of Petra in Edom (The land of Jordan) has been coming up a lot now as we near the days when the prophecy of the Remnant being gathered by the Four Angels from the four corners of the Earth and taken to a safe place while the "prince" goes about making war.

Is that place Petra? It is a very unique Sheepfold type Mountainous area in Edom/Jordan which once was inhabited by those who would not allow Moses and the Children to take a short cut through it on their way to the Promised Land. I think it is so ironic how Yahuah has given us abundant scriptures that show that...indeed...Israel, the Remnant of the Lord, will be taken to Bozrah/Petra/TheSheepfold for safe keeping.

Please remember, that the ecclesia is Israel along with Gentiles grafted into the flock of Yahusha's Sheep. There, will no doubt be those of the Southern Kingdom of Judah who will have their eyes opened and also flee. Prophecy always repeats itself to an extend.

As this discussion has been brought up, Steven reminded me of the book he had me get quite some time ago, "The Day of The Lord is at Hand" by Benjamin Baruch to read which tells us about this place called Bozrah (Sheepfold) which The Most High has created for "their safekeeping" His Sheep will find safety in this Land Mass known as Petra and He will even shut the door upon it. So, I went back to it today to type up some of the scriptures that speak on this subject.

I do not believe, as some do, that we are to make our way there on our own. Scripture makes it very clear that The Most High will gather His Remnant and put them there. In fact, it reminds me of a scripture in Isaiah 57:1-2 which sounds very much like these other scriptures found below except it also tells us why this would occur when the gathering will take place.

1."The righteous man perishes, and no man takes it to heart; And devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from evil, 2He enters into peace; They rest in their beds, Each one who walked in his upright way."

The word used for perish is "ovad" which means "An Unbloody Death". The Most High will change the natural man into the supernatural without seeing the striking blow of death. This is only for the Remnant whom He deems as the Righteous, the Devout. In other words, it isn't for all who think they are saved but who He has Chosen for this honor of being taken to save him from the Evil to come. "Many are called but few are Chosen". Matthew 22:14

Apparently it is during a time of some great catastrophe because they will be considered to be part of the collateral damage or total death count while some huge event has taken place. Those that survive won't even consider the fact that these have been taken without seeing natural death.


They That Escape Shall Escape

Ezekiel 7:16-18 (KJV)
16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. These sound like Judah whom flee on their own after their eyes have been opened to the Truth of their Messiah.

Revelation 12 contains a specific prophecy of the place of safety prepared by God where the Lord will fulfill his promise to Judah and to the remnant of Israel. The dragon will be enraged that he cannot reach the people in Edom so he will turn and go to make war with those who dwell in the other parts of the earth. Revelation 12:14 "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."

Again in Amos, the Lord provides a last days' prophecy of his people possessing the remnant of Edom. "That they may possess the remnant of Edon...saith the Lord that doeth this. Behold the days come said the Lord that the Plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them...And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord they God."

I Will Surely Gather The Remnant of Israel


In Micah the Lord declares that He will again assemble all of Jacob and that He will gather the remnant of Israel together. He will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah in the Land of Edom! And they shall make a great noise.

Here, it should become clear that these of the House of Israel are the 10 Tribes considered lost. However, as Steven has shown so often on the site with good teaching by David J. Smith and Joe Ortiz, that Yahusha/Jesus left Jewry and even said that He came only unto the Lost House of Israel.

He (Yahusha) knew that the Jewry of the Southern Kingdom would reject Him. These Sheep are the very ones of his own people who became the first believers and spread the gospel. They are the original ecclesia. His Love and Mercy allowed for Gentiles to be grafted into the fold.

Because there is such a large multitude that has been gathered. Praise the Lord that He has prepared a place of safety for us to hide in, while His men of war fight the dragon in the cities which have been conquered by the prince.

"I will surely assemble, o Jacob, all of thee, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold; they shall make great noise by reason of multitude of men. The breaker is come up before them. They have broken up and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it and their king shall pass before them and the Lord on the head of them.

I'm inclined to ask if this Breaker has broken through the Gate of "Time" or the Gate/Veil that allows all of these Remnant to change from one form into the supernatural?

It should be noted that "The Breaker" is Perseus that "delivers the Redeemed". He is included in Micah 2:13, "When He shall surely "gather the remnant of Israel". Another thing to notice is that The Breaker is seen in the Constellation of Aries, which is during the time of Passover.

Again, the Lord declares His remnant will spoil Moab, and the remnant of My people shall possess the land of Moab. This hasn't been fulfilled yet but the day is at hand, "And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah. The Lord their God shall visit them and turn away their captivity. I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the reviling's of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of host, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah...the residue of my people shall spoil them and the remnant of my people shall possess them."

Again in the book of Numbers 24:17-18, the Lord repeats this prophecy of the possession of Edom.

"He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty falling into a trance but having his eyes open: I shall see him but not now. I shall behold him but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Juacob and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and desroy all the children of Sheth. And Edom shall be a possession. Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies and Israel shall do valianty. 25

Over Edom Have I Cast My Shoe

The Lord has cast His shoe as the kinsman redeemer over the Land of Edom which had been given unto the curse. The scripture then reveals prophetically the question. Pslam 108:9 "Moab is my washpot, over Edom will I cast out my shoe...Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

The Prophet Amos speaks of the Day of the Lord as the time when the tabernacle of David is raised up and the Lord speaks again of the remnant possessing Edom. Amos 9:11-12 "In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof and I will raise up his ruins and I will build it as in the days of old. That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by name, said the Lord that doeth this.

"I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah as the flock in the midst of their fold. They shall make great noise by reason of the multitutde of men. Come and enter your chambers, my people and I will close the door behind you. Rest in me for a little while and wait for me while I judge my enemies. For the desolation which is coming shall shortly pass. Miach 2:12-13

In order to get the answers to questions such as these, it does take time to search the scriptures. Don't take our word for it but please do your own reading of Yahuah's Word and ask for His Holy Spirit to guide into Truth. That is what Steven and I have tried our best to do ourselves and why we ask you to do the same.

Thank you, Gerlinda, for your work on this. One scripture, I believe, you can add is Daniel 11:40-41, as I am looking at this possible chain of events:

We see in Daniel11:40-41 and Revelation 12:15-16, Satan failing in his early attempt to overcome the Woman during her 42 months in Petra.

But when the 42 months of her safety are about up, he makes a second attempt to destroy her according to Revelation 12:17.

Then a number of events quickly take place according to Isaiah chapter 34, especially v 8, which is the Day of the Lord's Vengeance, also Isaiah 63:4, and this is how it happens: When Satan angrily advances once more upon Petra, this prompts the Lord to immediately fulfill 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, to raise the dead and quickly gather up all His remnant sheep to meet him in the air, and immediately with His great armies, to wreck vengeance upon Satan, his army, and his allies in Edom once and for all, then to proceed on to devastate the unbelieving nations of the world and their armies.

OK Gloria, How amazing is that. That scripture in Revelation was always taught as the A/C, not being able to get to those Jews in Petra, would go off to the rest of the world to get those that keep His Commandments and have the Testimony of Jesus Christ (Yahusha) . That was taught because the Dispensational people said only the Gentile Church would have the testimony of Jesus/Yahusha. Now we know that Yahusha went to Israel first because they are the Sheep and Gentiles were grafted unto them.

That shoots down a pre-tribulation Rapture once that truth is understood that the Gentiles are not the ecclesia exclusively but only added unto the Natural Olive Branch. I bet, a whole bunch of them still won't admit that is the truth and keep insisting that God can't deal with Israel/the nation until they are gone. How pathetic is that?

But, I see here that it is in his wrath upon the woman, he heads for those in Petra, where The Remnant are located. It is amazing how the window of understanding opens up when a few people offer their understanding.

And this verse out of Daniel. "41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon." Goodness, we sure do see that A/C system in the very heart of The Glorious Land with a giant Base in the Negev Desert, where he has planted his tabernacles, don't we
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

And , Edom and Moab and the children of Ammon (all of Jordan) escape his hand. So, there we have it. This place where Petra is located is being kept from his hand to make clear passage for the Jews whose eyes will be opened and flee to Petra to join the Remnant already there.

I am wondering if the reason, outside of making Petra being available, if the reason Jordan is not able to be in the hands of the A/C is because they are brothers to Jacob/Israel? And eventually, many of them also will become Believers?

And yes, lastly, the Rapture of I Thess. 4:16-17 will take place and then watch out world, the Wrath of God will be poured out.
