The Sabbath is not on Sunday nor is it on every Saturday...it is completely controlled by Yahuah

We had learned quite a few years ago that Sunday is not the Sabbath because it is based on the revised Roman Calendars based on the Sun AND we are learning that every Saturday is not the Sabbath.

Those who advocate that every Saturday is the Sabbath are following the Solar-Lunar Calendar which fixes is so that the sighting of the new moon is always placed on a Saturday. The actual sighting of the new moon is called "Kodesh" but the count does not start until the sun has set on that day and the Jewish Day begins....which always starts at 6 in the evening. Then, the accurate count begins that Sunday which brings the Sabbath to Saturday.

You see, with the accurate way of doing the count at the actual sighting of the new moon, one could never pin down a day of the week from month to month. Not to mention every few years, an extra month has to be thrown in to catch up. This was Yahuah totally in control since He controls "everything". Man does not. Man's Solar Calendar is wrong and so is the Solar-Lunar Calendar used by such as the SDA who insist the Sabbath is on Saturday. In fact, modern Israel is also following the wrong system which their fore-fathers did not use.

The 4th Commandment to "Remember the Sabbath, to keep it Holy" takes some effort since there is no such thing as an absolute Lunar Calendar. It is a system that takes two witnesses to verify the new moon has been sighted and then the Shofar was sounded and the word spread. By that evening, when Israel's day begins, everyone knew that it was time to start the count for the Sabbath.

Steven has been looking into this subject for some time now and has located this website which has a very good record for setting the times for the sighting of the new moon based on many, many programs that trace the moon's journey.

This website is for those that truly want to keep the Sabbath at it's correct time; it may be different days of the week, depending on the sighting of the new moon, of course.
