All of us Believers who are saved were saved knowing only the name Jesus Christ. But, now that we are in the End of Days, when so much is being revealed to us such as His True Name, we HONOR HIM BY USING HIS HEBREW NAME, Yahusha. (there may be differences in spelling but the Name is His Hebrew Name)

There is always a controversy about who and where will spend the 3 1/2 years in the Wilderness in the days leading up to the return of Messiah. One of the most unique of places is the natural shaped of a Sheepfold in Jordan, called Petra. The narrow passageway leading into the Sheepfold is, I believe somewhere between 1/2 to a mile long. Up until it became a part of the Heritage Foundation, the Petra Bedouin still resided within their cave dwellings but were forcefully evacuated in 1985.


There is a city of Petra, Jordan, nearby holds only about 20,000. But this natural wonder that is located a short distance away in Jordan is the work of Yahuah God. It still has a natural water conduit system whose waters may be not as plentiful right now but at His Word, it would flow clear and plentiful for the people who will go to Bozrah, which means "Sheepfold" Ancient Selah, now Petra. It is a wilderness area that is protected with rocky sides all around it.

Daniel 11:41 tells us, "He shall enter also into the glorious land and many countries shall be over-thrown but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom and Moab and the chief of the children of Amman." Why these? Because these are the tribes of Jacob's brother Essau. In other words, these estranged brothers families will unite someday. It will hold the Israelite and Gentile believers. They stay there for 3 1/2 years. Jordan is actually part of the total landmass that will given to Israel.

For those that do not yet understand, Israel is made up of the Sheep that Yahusha came to save along with any Gentiles that got grafted into the Root. They make up the Sheep that will flee into this huge naturally carved Sheepfold. Believers do not get rapture out to some place in the air but will gathered by the Angels from the four corners and put into a place of safety where the A/C cannot reach them.

When it says the A/C will then go after the rest of those who keep God’s commands and have the testimony about Jesus, it is speaking of those that thought they were true Believers but were not collected by the Angels and now must face the choice of taking A/C mark or facing the Guillotines. Not everyone that says, "Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of Yahuah".

I had read long ago that it can hold the same amount of people as came out of the original Exodus with Moses. What was that? 2-3 million which included women and children?

In the first place, when Israel left Egypt they had 603,550 armed men for war if all of those men were living at the time (Numbers 1:46). This number included all able bodied men from the age of twenty (Numbers 1:45) to the age of retirement at year fifty (Numbers 4:3;John 8:57) or sometimes sixty (Leviticus 27:7). But if all the women, children and older people over fifty (or sixty) are included, the number of Israelites who left Egypt must have numbered about two and a half million

In fact, when Moses was leading the people to the Promised Land, he asked the Edomites if he could pass through their area to shorten his journey and the answer was "NO". This is not forgotten, you can be sure. The Edomites were the tribes of Essau, the twin brother of Jacob. So, there is that family tie between Jordan and Israel that will, one day, be healed.

Wikipedia says that Selah/Bozrah/Petra was possibly established as early as 312 BC as the capital city of the Arab Nabataeans

In fact, more than one. It is an amazing place.

I am going to provide a link; click into the photos and you can see just how huge this area is and how it can accommodate easily a remnant of Believers. There are caves all over the place and plenty of room to put up tents.

I'm reminded of the Week of Booths, which Israel celebrates during the Fall Feast of Yahuah. Each family builds an outdoor dwelling where they eat & sleep. This is probably more than a reminder of the past Exodus but a time when they will once again live in tents like they did in the days of Moses?

This scripture:

Isaiah 42:11 (ESV) — Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the habitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountains

Isaiah 33:15-16 (ESV) — 15 He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, 16 he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure." (Notice that it isn't saying just one Rock but a fortress of rocks, which is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system.)

This sure does seem to be implying that with the return of Yahusha, these people in the desert, the villages that Kedar inhabit will shout for joy, doesn't it? So, who will be in those places that would shout for joy when He shows Himself to them? It would be the true believers made up of natural Israel and grafted in Gentiles.

Many still do not seem to understand that Israel is the eccelsia along with the Gentiles so there is confusion of why some scripture speaks about them going to the wilderness yet Judah is spoken of as fighting in Jerusalem?

That is exactly what we have been trying to show on this site is the fact that The House of Israel is separate from the House of Judah, who still remains in Jerusalem to this day and who will be doing their fighting there. When people do not understand this truth, they get all muddled up with who is who and how can Israel be in the desert when it is fighting in Jerusalem.

Yahusha will first present Himself to those in Bozra/Petra and that is why they will shout with joy, then He makes the journey to Jerusaelm to fight on behalf of those Jews whose blindfolds are finally removed in their desperation of knowing they are lost except they call out to their Messiah. It is then His feet will stand upon the mount of Olives and it will split in half. He returns with His Angels to fight the adversaries of the Father and of His people.
