ISIS attack in Israel is just a matter of time
Israel will become the target of an ISIS attack, it is just a matter of time, senior security officials said on Monday. An IDF's General Staff drill was carried out last week, which drilled a scenario in which ISIS carried out a big attack in southern Israel, leading to the deployment of a battalion of paratroopers.

Venezuela election: Maduro's Socialists trounced
The opposition in Venezuela has won a majority of seats in the National Assembly, overturning nearly two decades of dominance by the Socialists of President Nicolas Maduro. Five hours after polling ended, the National Electoral Council announced the opposition had won 99 seats. President Maduro has admitted defeat, recognising "these adverse results".

Iraq threatens Turkey with UN action over troop deployment
Iraq has threatened to go to the UN if Turkey does not withdraw soldiers it sent to areas near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul within 48 hours. Baghdad said the deployment was done without consultation and was a violation of national sovereignty. Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu defended the move as routine troop rotation at a pre-established camp.

High-level India-Pakistan talks held in Bangkok
