Russia fires missiles from Mediterranean on targets in ISIS stronghold Raqqa - reports
The Russian military has launched airstrikes against the Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa in Syria with cruise missiles from their ships in the Mediterranean Sea, France’s Le Monde newspaper said, citing a French official.

An earthquake, initially thought to be a magnitude 6, struck north of Honduras on Sunday (15 November) triggering a tsunami alert.

2 killed after 6.5 magnitude quake strikes Greece
A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck southwest of Ioannina in Greece at a depth of some 10 kilometers, according to the US Geological Service. Two people have been reported dead.

Michele Bachmann’s End Times Claims...Rabbi Calling for a Retraction
A prominent rabbi is speaking out against comments that were made earlier this month by former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), who...said that Christians should share Jesus Christ with everyone, “even among the Jews.” Rabbi Shmuley Boteach...founder of the World Values Network — a group devoted to defending the state of Israel — is now calling on Bachmann to ”retract ‘misguided’ comments about bringing Jews into Christianity.”

Palestinian land owners accept demolition plan for disputed synagogue
The Supreme Court approved a request on Tuesday to postpone the demolition of a synagogue built on Palestinian land in the West Bank... The approval comes with several conditions, primarily that all worshipers and holy books are removed from the synagogue in Givat Ze'ev within the two allocated days, and that the government begins the structure's demolition.

Israel bans northern branch of Islamic Movement
Israel declared the northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel an unlawful gathering on Tuesday, effectively outlawing the group led by Sheikh Raed Salah. The decision...means that any person or group that officially associates with the organization from now on will be subject to criminal penalties, including arrest. In addition, the organization's property can be confiscated.

China nearly triples number of supercomputers, report says
China has almost tripled its number of supercomputers, according to a reputable list of the world's most powerful machines. The country has 109 high-performance computing systems on the biannual Top500 list of supercomputers, up 196% from 37 just six months ago. The most powerful supercomputer, China's Tianhe-2, also retained the top spot for the sixth consecutive time.

India's Chennai hit by rain and deadly flooding
More than 70 people have been killed as incessant rains continue to batter the southern Indian city of Chennai, media reports say. Most of the main streets are waterlogged, bringing the city to a standstill. Many offices, schools and colleges have been shut due to rains in the past week.

Poll: Majority of Palestinians support third intifada against Israel
More than half of the Palestinians support a third intifada against Israel, according to a public opinion poll published on Monday. The poll, which was conducted by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion, also found that 48 percent of respondents would like to see Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas quit. The poll, conducted between November 12 and 18, covered some 1,000 Palestinians.

Steady increase in number of French Jews making aliya
About 6,500 Jews have made aliya from France so far this year. According to projections, some 8,000 Jews will have immigrated to Israel from France by the end of 2015... “We have noted a steady increase of about 10 percent this year compared to 2014, when 7,200 French Jews arrived. This increase continues the trend of recent years, so we don’t see a specific peak in the number of French immigrants,” he added.

If you want to try to make sense of this, knock yourself out: U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday ruled out a shift in strategy in the fight against the Islamic State despite the deadly attacks in Paris last week, saying putting U.S. troops on the ground to combat the group “would be a mistake.”

Why Islam is a Religion of War

Administration which said ISIS was ‘contained’ hours before Paris attack says it’s ‘not likely’ they
Nine hours before the attacks in Paris, President Obama had this to say about the “J.V. team:” (Video below) After the attacks, Obama’s people went into damage control mode. They clarified that the President meant that ISIS had been “geographically contained” after a rapid expansion during the time the Obama Administration was busy pretending they posed no threat. That may be a fair distinction, but it’s also a worthless one. The problem, of course, is that an outfit like ISIS doesn’t really rely on simple geographic boundaries.

Islamic State threatens attack on Washington, other countries
CAIRO - Islamic State warned in a new video on Monday that countries taking part in air strikes against Syria would suffer the same fate as France, and threatened to attack in Washington. The video, which appeared on a website used by Islamic State to post its messages, begins with news footage of the aftermath of Friday's Paris shootings in which at least 129 people were killed.

Alabama, Michigan, Texas, Arkansas, Indiana and Louisiana governors start refusing Syrian refugees in wake of French terror attacks
Alabama Governor Robert Bentley has announced he is refusing Syrian refugees relocating to his state on the same day Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan said in a statement that his state would also postpone efforts until federal officials fully review security clearances and procedure.

French reporter to Obama: Isn't it time to change your ISIS strategy?
President Barack Obama's first question at a Monday news conference went to a reporter from the Paris-based Agence France-Presse. That reporter confronted Obama over last week's terrorist attacks in Paris. "One hundred and twenty-nine people were killed in Paris on Friday night. ISIL claimed responsibility for the massacre," he said, using an acronym for the group also known as the Islamic State or ISIS. "The equation has clearly changed. On the day ISIS related terrorists spread out across Paris and killed more than one hundred people, Barack Obama claimed ISIS was “contained.” After the attacks, liberals actually tried to argue that the attacks in Paris showed how successful Barack Obama had been because ISIS was having to lash out to get attention. Yes, liberals actually argued this. At Saturday night’s Democratic debate, Bernie Sanders reaffirmed that global warming was the greatest threat to humanity and was also the root cause of terrorism in the Middle East.
