The introduction of the EMV system here in America seems to have pressed the fast forward button on the coming Mark of The Beast. Unfortunately, there are a lot of false teachers out there spreading the false belief that it will be OK to accept the implants because the “mark” isn’t physical, but a spiritual and mental “mark”. Please don’t be deceived by these servants of Satan. They will cost you your eternal security. Before I dig into the meat of this article, I want to address this false teaching that is going around.

How Do We Know The Mark Is Physical?

The idea that the mark is not physical has no basis in solid Biblical understanding. All we need to do is consult the Strong’s Concordance to find the answer to our question.


“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” – Revelation 13:16-17

Mark: Strong’s #5480 (charagma)

Definition: sculpture; engraving, a stamp, sign.
Word Help: properly, an engraving (etching); (figuratively) a mark providing undeniable identification, like a symbol giving irrefutable connection between parties. Mark (“brand-mark”) was originally any impress on a coin or a seal, used by an engraver on a die (stamp, branding iron). It later became “the identification-marker” (like with an owner’s unique “brand-mark”). Ancient documents were validated by such stamps or seals (see Plutarch, Agesilaus, 15:6; De Lysandro 16:2, Ala DNTT, 2, 574).

Exhaustive: From the same as charax; a scratch or etching, I.e. Stamp (as a badge of servitude), or scupltured figure (statue) — graven, mark.
As we can see, it is indeed a physical, identifying mark. Anyone teaching anything different than what scripture has to say, is misinformed at best, and a false teacher at worst.

From a financial standpoint, the switch from card to chip makes perfect sense for banks and consumers, but how will they sell it to the general public? It is already being positioned as the ultimate solution for the following:

Identity Theft: Having a chip permanently implanted on your person will eliminate the need to carry ID, social security cards, insurance cards, and credit cards. It also makes it nearly impossible for a thief to steal your information without actually scanning your chip.

Credit Card Theft: Because of the versatility of computers and smart phones, we will no longer need to enter sensitive credit card information online. We will most likely have devices capable of simply scanning the chip wherever we are. This, in addition to the elimination of physical cards, will make fraud almost impossible.

Convenience: Many of us carry multiple cards, but having a chip implant will ensure that we never forget or lose our vital information that is usually carried in wallets and purses.

Crime Reduction: Equipping chips with GPS will significantly cut down on crime. Authorities would be able to immediately track missing persons, and their kidnappers. Hit and runs in vehicles would become impossible, and because we’d have a cashless system, bank and store robberies would become a thing of the past.

Peace of Mind For Parents: Parents would be able to track their kids at all times, similar to how some cell phone apps currently allow. The biggest difference is that kids wouldn’t be able to disable the chip, as can be done in the phone’s settings menu. Knowing that their kids are where they say they’re going to be, when they say they are going to be there will offer peace of mind to many parents.

Implantable Chips Are Already Being Used

It may or may not come as as surprise to you, but some private companies are already testing chip implants on their employees. Those employees that have the implants can freely walk through security doors and use various machines at work without providing ID or passwords.

Workers Volunteer To Get Implants

There are also chips being tested that allow a person to walk up to their car, get in and start the engine without keys or a remote of any kind. The same technology can be applied to houses, safes, and gun locks, just to name a few. Implantable chips will definitely be the next big leap forward in technology, and not just from a security standpoint.
