I loved this post put on the site today by Steven concerning how the OT spoke about the Messiah and how the New Testament bears out the Prophecies concerning Him right down to every little detail.

Nowhere in these scriptures and in the stories relating to events such as Noah's Flood, Exodus, Sodom & Gomorrah and other accounts does it point to a Rapture....NO WHERE. In fact, when reading all of the Bible, in it's total content, it is telling us about the One who will come, who did come and who prayed to the Father that His Own would not be taken from this earth. John 17:15 "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil". That would be the Evil to come; the Evil One himself, who gets his 3 1/2 years.

Look again, He doesn't ask they be taken out of this world but keep them from the evil. Somewhere on this earth, He has a place of safety from the Evil to come. Now, how foolish and anti-scriptural it is to teach against God's very Words. We have a whole bunch of pre-tribbers believing they are going to heaven to sit and feast for 7 years at a Wedding Feast that isn't taking place up there?

Did you search out the scriptures Perry Stone and others that pushed this farce upon people who don't read all of the Bible? They believed you. You will say, "Well, it just seems..." Seeming is not the same as Seeing for yourself the Word of God and dividing the Word properly.

And then you read about the Grape Harvest where those in earth did not believe in the Salvation of Messiah Yehshua who are gathered and put through the Wine Press of His Wrath. I suggest that believers in Messiah read all of this found below and stop all their concentration upon a pre-tribulation Rapture which is not going to happen. What will happen is this;

1. The Elect will be gathered from the Four Winds and kept in safety here on earth. Here it is in Matthew 24:31 "And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." This happens prior to the last 3 1/2 years before A/C is revealed.

2. The unrighteous will be gathered and put through the Wine Press of God's Wrath. Matthew 13:41 "The Son of Man shall send forth his messengers, and they shall gather up out of his kingdom all the stumbling-blocks, and those doing the un-lawlessness." - Youngs Literal Bible
And when does this happen? At His Coming when He brings His Wrath. And when do the Dead and the Living meet Him in the Air? At His Coming. That is the Resurrection of the Dead and Transformation of the Living; All about the same time....not some 3 1/2 years before and positively not some 7 years before.

3. The Promised One of God; the Seed of the Woman, came right on time, and in the midst of the 70th year, fulfilled it just as it has been told, confirmed it when He read out of Isaiah..even declared that this day the prophecy had been fulfilled in their hearing. Luke 4:21

And why is He called the Seed of the Woman? It is not because the woman was sinless. It has nothing to do with the Woman since women do not have Seed but it is to direct your attention to the fact that He (Jesus Christ) had no earthly father but was God come in the Flesh...just as was promised to Adam & Eve AND it happened right on time so that He would become the Sinless Lamb of God. His Mother Mary was the earthly vessel used but in no way, shape or form, was she sinless or a goddess as the Vatican declares. it is all about Jesus Christ and He alone.

Would you believe there are some that think God would never have destroyed the Temple nor Jerusalem? Therefore the He in Daniel 27 can't be the Messiah. Why Not? He called the clergy at the Temple Vipers. It is apparent He didn't think too much about these Serpent Sepherds leading the Sheep. The Ark of the Covenant had been removed at the destruction of Solomon's Temple years before.

Four years before the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, there were strange signs seen in the Heavens. Josephus, a Jewish historian who lived in Jerusalem at the time, wrote about a comet that streaked through the heavens for one whole year around 66 AD. Also seen was a star shaped like a sword. Also witnessed was the opening and closing of the Eastern Gate all by itself. It normally took 20 men to open this gate. The Jews, at that time, took this to mean that the Romans who were occupying Jerusalem, would soon be defeated. However, the wise men interpreted it as God's Glory had departed from the Temple.

Josephus, also said that a very strange thing happened at the Temple: a heifer gave birth to a lamb. This is really strange for two reasons: a heifer is a cow which has never been impregnated and to give birth to a species other than it's own is unheard of. For two years, prior to it's destruction in 70 AD, an omen of a Sword was seen in heavens over Jerusalem as a warning. The Jews, over-all rejected the Lamb of God.

Now, let me ask those same people that say God would never destroy the Temple nor the city as Daniel tells us.....if God could show all these wonders of which Josephus testified, don't you think He was able bring judgment upon the very ones who had rejected His Messiah? There are some people who are dangerous when they think without the Word of God.

Scriptures on the true Messiah:
Genesis 3:15 said that He would be the seed of a woman. Meaning He would not be from the seed of Adam. Galatians 4:4, Luke 2:7, and Revelation 12:5 said that He was the seed of the woman. He was not conceived of an earthly father (Matthew 1: 18-25).

Genesis 18:18 said He would be the promised seed of Abraham. Acts 3:25, Matthew 1:1, and Luke 3:34 said that He was.

Genesis 17:19 said He would be the promised seed of Isaac. Matthew 1:2 and Luke 3:34 said that He was.

Numbers 24:17 and Genesis 28:14 said He would be the promised seed of Jacob. Luke 3:34 and Matthew 1:2 said that He was.

Genesis 49:10 said He would descend from the tribe of Judah. Luke 3:33 and Matthew 1:2-3 said that He was.

Isaiah 9:7, 11: 1-5, and 2 Samuel 7:13 said that He would be heir to the throne of David. Matthew 1:1 and 1:6 said that He was.

Micah 5:2 said He would be born in Bethlehem. Matthew 2:1, and Luke 2:4-7 said that He was.

Daniel 9: 25 marked the time of His birth. Luke 2:1-7 attested to this.

Isaiah 7:14 said He would be born of a virgin. Matthew 1:18 and Luke 1:26-35 said that He was.

Isaiah 9: 6 revealed that many names would be attached to Him from birth. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Millions have already called Him that.

Numbers 24:17 said that a star would come out of Jacob. Matthew 2: 2, 7; 2: 9-10; 2 Peter 1:l9, Rev. 2:28; 22:16 attested that a real star in the sky proclaimed His birth.

Leviticus 24:8 said the seven golden candlestick would signify an everlasting covenant between Yahweh and His people. This seven golden candlestick which is seen at God's throne in Zechariah 4: 2 would be seen with the true Messiah in the midst of it. Revelation 1:12, 13, 20 said that this happened.

Jeremiah 31:15 prophesied the massacre of infants. Matthew 2:16-18 said He escaped Herod's massacre.

Hosea 11:1 said He would have to flee to Egypt. Matthew 2:14 said that it happened.

Isaiah 40:3 foretold of His forerunner - a voice crying in the wilderness. John 3:3 said that John the Baptist was exactly that.

Isaiah 9:1-2 told of His ministry in Galilee.Matthew 4:12 - 16 said He had one.

Deuteronomy 18:15 said He would be a prophet. John 6:14 said that He was.

Psalm 110:4 said that He would be a priest like Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:20 said that He was.

Isaiah 11:2 said that the Spirit of the Lord was rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And Philippians 2:8 said He was obedient even to the death on the cross. The Real Messiah would honour and obey the Holy Scriptures. The entire New Testament gives record of His wisdom, knowledge and understanding and obedience to Yaweh and His written Word.

Isaiah 61:1 specifically prophesies that the Spirit of the Lord God would come upon Him and anoint Him to preach good tidings unto the meek, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and open the prison to them who are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and tell of the day of vengence of God and to comfort those who mourn and to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that people might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that God might be glorified. That believers will be called Priests of the Lord and Ministers of God. Luke 4:18 and 1 Peter 2:9 confirmed this happened.

Isaiah 53:3 said He would be rejected. John 1:11 said that He was.

Isaiah 11:2 told of His characteristics. Luke 2:52 confirmed these characteristics.

Isaiah Ch. 53 said He would be obedient to the Word of God. Philippians 2:8 said that He was.

Zechariah 9:9 and Isaiah 62:11 said He would enter Jerusalem upon an ass. John 12:13-14, and Matthew 21:1-11 said that He did.

Psalm 41:9 said He would be betrayed by a friend. Matthew 14:10 said He was.

Zechariah 11:13 said the betrayal money would be returned for a potter's field. Matthew 27:6-7 said that it was.

Psalm 109:7-8 said that Judas' office would be taken by another. Acts 1:18 said that it was.

Psalm 27:12 said false witnesses would accuse Him. Matthew 26:60-61 said that they did.

Isaiah 53:7 said He would be silent when accused. Matthew 26: 60-61 said that He was.

Isaiah 50:6 said He would be spat upon. Mark 14: 65 said that He was.

Psalm 69:4 said He would be hated without cause. John 15:23-25 said that
He was.
Isaiah 53:4-5 said He would suffer vicariously. Matthew 8:16-17, Romans 4:24, and 1 Corinthians 15:3 said that He did.

Isaiah 53:12 said that He would be crucified with sinners. Matthew 27:38, Mark 15:27-28, and Luke 23:33 said that He was.

Psalm 22:16 said His hands and feet would be pierced. John 20:27 said that they were.

Psalm 22:6-8 said that He would be mocked and insulted. Matthew 27;39-40 said that He was.

Psalm 109:4 said He would pray for His enemies. Luke 23:34 said that He did.

Zechariah 12:10 said that He would be pierced. John 19:34 said that He was.

Psalm22:18 said that soldiers would cast lots for His vesture. Mark 15:34 said that they did.

Psalm 34:20 said none of His bones would be broken. John 19:33 said none were.

Isaiah 53:9 said He would be buried with the rich. Matthew 27:57-60 said that He was.

Psalm 16:10 spoke of His resurrection - He would not see corruption. Matthew 28:9 said that He did not.

Psalm 68:18 told of His ascension. Luke 24:50-51 said that He ascended.

Psalm 89:9 and 107:29 said He would still the raging sea and waves. Matthew 8:26 said He did.

Psalm 146:8 said He would open the eyes of the blind. Matthew 9:27-28; 20:30, Mark 8:22-23, 10:49, 10:51 and Luke 18:35 said He did.

Deuteronomy 18:18 - God said He would be a prophet as unto Moses. Matthew 17:3 said He was.

Psalm 146:88 said He would raise them that are bowed down . Luke 13:11 said He did.

Isaiah 42:7 said he would open the eyes of the blind and set free those in prison. Matthew 9:27-28, said He did.

Psalm 68:6 said He loosens the chains. Mark 5:4 said He broke the chains. And today, He still does.

Ezekiel 36:27 said that He would put His Spirit within man. John 20:22 said that He did.

Deuteronomy 10:2 said that into the Ark of the Covenant in the Wilderness was put: The Word of God, The Unleavened Bread, and Aaron's rod which had budded - the almond being the first fruit. Isaiah 53:10,12 said He would have no sin but bear the sin of many. John 1: 1-14, and Revelation 19:13 attests to Him being the Word of God. And Hebrews 9:1- 28 tells the entire connection with Messiah. He also would be he Firstfruit of the Resurrection 1 Cor. 15:20-23, Rev. 14:4.

Isaiah 11:10 said He would be a root of Jesse which shall be an ensign of the people of whom the Gentiles shall seek, and His rest shall be glorious. Romans 15:12 attested to that.
