The commander, identified by his nom de guerre Abu Anas, was murdered by the woman in Tal Roman district, located to the west of Mosul, Press TV reported. ...keeping a woman as slave in fact is a "great prophetic Sunnah (way of life prescribed by Prophet Mohammad) containing many divine wisdoms and religious benefits".

Egyptian billionaire offers to buy Mediterranean island to accommodate refugees
Naguib Sawiris, a billionaire and philanthropist from Egypt, has announced a bid to purchase land in the Mediterranean which would be used to provide refugees a new home, CNN reported on Friday. "Greece or Italy, sell me an island," Sawiris tweeted. In another tweet, he suggested calling the island "Aylan" after the Syrian boy who made international headlines after pictures surfaced of his drowned body washed ashore in Turkey.

Pope calls on every European parish to host one migrant family each
"I appeal to the parishes, the religious communities, the monasteries and sanctuaries of all Europe to ... take in one family of refugees," he said after his Sunday address in the Vatican. The pope's call goes out to tens of thousands of Catholic parishes in Europe as the number of refugees arriving over land through the Balkans and across the Mediterranean to Italy and Greece hits record levels.

The anonymous officials say Russia has set up an air traffic control tower and transported prefabricated housing units for up to 1,000 personnel to an airfield serving the Syrian port city of Latakia.

Kentucky County Clerk upheld the law and is a political prisoner in America
I’ll make this very brief, for it’s not that complicated. Rowan County, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis broke no laws. In fact, she kept to her oath of office and upheld the Kentucky state Constitution by refusing to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples. Setting aside her Christian beliefs here, I ask anyone to show me the codified law of Rowan County or the state statute in which she has allegedly violated. It does not exist.
