The next four years will try our souls. Financial collapse, waves of Muslim ‘refugees’, rising tyranny and ecological destruction will test our character in ways that we have never seen before. And then, there will be war.

In fact, war has already started. The US overthrew the government of Ukraine. Turned strife in Syria into civil war. Overthrew countries in North Africa. Betrayed the Arabs by making deals with Iran. And may be engaged in sabotage in China, while probably fomenting revolt among the Uyghurs – also in China.

I’m not even sure who the ‘good guys’ are. Our churches are full of sin, and many have already defected to Chrislam.

The next four years are going to be… um …interesting. Yes. That’s the word. Interesting.

The Next Four Years
The title of this article comes from a piece by Martin Armstrong:

The relevant part is just a couple paragraphs long, so I’ll reproduce them here:

All systems tend to collapse in ten 8.6-year waves, and the last 4.3 years are typically the worst. That is what we should see between 2015.75 and 2020.05. By comparison, the Roman Emperor Valerian I was the first emperor captured by the enemy. He was used as a footstool while wearing the purple robe of an emperor. When he died, he was stuffed like a trophy. That was in 260 AD. The next four years saw a complete collapse of everything, including religion. Romans prayed but nothing happened; this is when Christianity took off.

We are now approaching that same last 4.3-year leg in socialism from 1934. This is the peak in confidence in government and it will evaporate rapidly as it did in 260 AD. This is not the end of the world, but it will be a chance to push back to restore our liberty. It will get bad at first because government will fight hard going into 2017. By mid-2018, we should begin to see the trend with more clarity for once and all.

Well, aside from the various German tribes attempting to carve out territory for themselves, within the power vacuum left by Rome’s fall, the Dark Ages were caused by:

The Fall Of America

So, here’s the question:

Will the American Empire fall in the same way that Rome did?

Probably not, but there will be much that will be similar. Just as Rome left a power vacuum to fill, the fall of America will do the same. And, the American Empire will no longer exist when US Aircraft Carrier Strike Groups no longer patrol the Persian Gulf.

The American Empire is based upon the US dollar being the reserve currency of the world. And, the US dollar is the world’s reserve currency because you can’t buy oil in any other currency than US dollars – at least, until recently. OPEC owns most of the oil in the world, and they will not sell any of it to you, unless you give them dollars.

Why?

Because America promised to protect the Gulf Arabs from any and all enemies – and that pretty much means Iran.


The Petrodollar Is Based Upon Aircraft Carriers
Please understand that the Petrodollar System is not based on any other factor than the American military – specifically, the ability of the US military to keep Saudi Arabia safe. I don’t care about any of the other theories floating about out there. The US armed forces is THE reason for the petrodollar, and the petrodollar is THE reason for the reserve currency status of the US dollar.

Unfortunately, the dollar is looking a bit sick. China has been dumping dollars. India has been dumping dollars. And worse, the US government has been abusing the dollar for a VERY long time.

What will happen when the economic situation gets so bad in the US, that the American military can no longer be supported?

The US Navy will no longer patrol the Persian Gulf. The US Air Force and Army will no longer be able to maintain bases in the region. In fact, military personnel will be needed back in the US to keep a lid on the riots that will be destroying American cities.


Filling The Power Vacuum
The American imperium will fall, and the US will be forced to withdraw her military from bases scattered all over the world. Now, supposing that America goes quietly into the night…

Who will fill the vacuum?

Good question. I’m not sure that ANYONE is able to take over the role of peacemaker in the Persian Gulf, but I know someone who wants to:

Russia

I don’t think that Russia has imperial ambitions – at least, no more than any other normal country. But, she has always struggled for secure access to the oceans of the world, and she would love to have better control of the sale of oil and natural gas – the lifeblood of the Russian economy.

There’s also another player, and this one truly lusts after empire:

Turkey

President Erdogan desperately wants to recreate the glory days of the Ottoman Empire. And, it is precisely that desire that motivated him to ally himself with the Gulf Arabs and the CIA, to foment rebellion in Syria.

Unfortunately for our boy Erdogan, he’s been having trouble getting elected President-for-life. Also, Syria hasn’t fallen apart as quickly as he’d hoped, and Iran is on its way to challenging his dominance in the region. In fact, I suspect that it will take Russia to make the peace between Turkey and Iran.


CIA Dirty Deeds In China
All of this is a recipe for war and conflict on an even greater scale than we see right now. After all, nobody in their right mind believes that America will go quietly into the night.

Did you notice the recent explosion in Shandong?

Yeah. This one:

This one had me HOPPING MAD. This is the FOURTH explosion in a month in a half. My wife confirmed this via Chinese reports, and it is EXTREMELY upsetting to me.

You could make the case that one of those is pure coincidence. You might even go out on a limb and say two of them. BUT NOT FOUR.

Since my wife knows a thing or two about corruption and mismanagement at such facilities in China, she leans towards two of those possibly being the mishandling of dangerous materials. But, even my adorably cynical wife agrees that sabotage must be involved.

Could someone PLEASE put everyone in the US State Department and the CIA in Gitmo?

By the way, please STOP with the space-weapon/nuke theories. Sabotage is an ancient art, and something that the CIA is very good at – without needing to resort to fantastically expensive ‘space weapons’ or just as expensive nuclear weapons.

My comical outrage aside, US involvement in Ukrain, Syria and now China, indicates that America will go down fighting. And, I’m afraid that the rest of the world will need to knock America off her perch, for their own safety.


On Track For Gog And Magog
So, when I saw Martin Armstrong make this statement…

The point is that we are following a familiar pattern, in the fall of the American Empire. But, we’ve never quite had this confluence of events. We’ve never had nuclear weapons and such a high level of technology. We’ve never been able to fly and communicate the way that we do now. We’ve never…

Well, I could keep this up for hours, so I’ll stop.

The point is that even though we are following a well-trodden path in our decline, we are still in uncharted territory. The only sure explanation that we have of the future, is the Bible. And, what is says is… well… Well, what it says is so bad… the death and destruction so great… That you could be excused for not wanting to think about it.

Unfortunately, if you don’t think about it, and then do something… you will die.

War is coming. Maybe not tomorrow, or next month. It might not even be next year. But, it’s still coming. And, I really can’t say how many will survive to talk about it.

That was unsettling, so let’s move on to something that will just upset you.

I listened to the The Common Sense Show a few days ago, and I found myself completely outraged for a second time this week. It had to do with a woman who ‘made the mistake’ of having principles and choosing to expose the corruption of Fort Collins, Colorado – and the surrounding area.

Because of her efforts to expose Agenda 21 and the corrupt efforts of officials and certain businesses, her child – Jaden – was taken from her, and she was denied the right to see her child or interact with him in any way.

When I heard the evidence of such extreme injustice, I was beyond outraged. If you and I let this vile evil stand, then we will deserve every bit of the judgment that God will rain down upon America.

This is the heart of darkness writ large. This vile travesty cannot be allowed to continue, and I believe that it is our responsibility to do what we can to help.

Dave Hodges obviously feels the same way, and he is looking into setting something up that will help Stacy get her little boy back.
