The Pope use his chair to grant forgiveness for people who have killed their child, in the claimed “holy year”.
Pope Francis will give all priests discretion during the Roman Catholic Church’s upcoming Holy Year to formally forgive women who have had abortions, in the Argentine pontiff’s latest move towards a more open and inclusive church.

In Church teaching, abortion is such a grave sin that those who procure or perform it incur an automatic excommunication. Usually only designated clergy and missionaries can formally forgive abortions.

But from Dec.8 to Nov. 26, during an extraordinary Holy Year or “Jubilee” on the theme of mercy announced by Pope Francis in March, all priests will be able to do so, he said in a letter published on Tuesday by the Vatican.

In the letter, Francis described the “existential and moral ordeal” faced by women who have terminated pregnancies and said he had “met so many women who bear in their heart the scar of this agonizing and painful decision”.

Francis is the first non-European pope in 1,300 years and has marked himself out for his tolerance regarding taboo topics. Although he has shown no intention of retracting the Church’s opposition to abortion, he has alarmed conservatives by taking a less forceful tone than his predecessors.

However, Pope Francis is taking it to a universal level. He said that the forgiveness of God can’t be denied to a person who has sincerely repented, especially when the person comes to the Sacrament of Confession in order to be genuinely reconciled with the Father.

My comment:

The Pope claims infallibility in matters of good moral, and interpretation of scriptures. Here is seems that the Pope has failed on both accounts.

If God is not willing to forgive, what kind of forgiveness can be granted by a priest?

Any person who claim to know Jesus, but kill an unborn child, can not be sure of forgiveness. That would be to take forgiveness for grated. “cheep mercy” is another word for such theology.

The Bible is crystal clear. Those who claim to know the Messiah, can not continue to sin on purpose.

1.John 3:6
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

1. John 3:9
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

1.John 5:18
We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

Those who have been born again by the spirit of God, will hate sin. Regardless of what the Pope and his religious priesthood might claim. If we fear God, we will obey Him.

For all who have had faith in the Pope because the Roman Catholic Church stand against abortion, hopefully this was the eye-opener they needed. The new logic is: If the Pope can grant forgiveness, no need to worry about murdering a child.

There is none righteous, no not one. This pope is NOT Christ's representative on earth for the Word of God has said:

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" I Timothy 2:5

Please Catholics, wash off those scales on your eyes. You are quite able to talk to the Father yourself in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Yahshua) to ask for forgiveness.

To wait upon a bunch of men who cloth themselves in a false piety to decide how this issue of an abortion will be handled and who can forgive the sin and who cannot is diversion from the Pits of Hell. The Devil doesn't want you to know what God has already told us in His Word, the Bible.

Catholics, the Bible is not a Protestant Book. No, it is not; it has been kept from the Catholics in order to steal your liberty in Christ away from you.

It is GOD'S WORD for all that seek Him.
