Prior to the 17th Century, no one ever heard the name Jesus because His name was not Jesus but Yeshua. Since He was born among His people, the Hebrews, He was given a Hebrew name. Our Saviour is not a Greek and certainly not Zeus, the Greek rendering of the name of god.

Hebrew names have meaning. Everything about the alphabet of Hebrew has deep meaning within it. The Hebrew name Yeshua means "Yahweh's Salvation"

As it is stated by the speaker, we can call him Jesus but when we do, we don't get the meaning of His Name like we do when we apply the Hebrew Name with it's full meaning. You use the given proper name, you include the character of the Name. He is our Salvation sent by The Father.

Please understand, I am not saying you must use His Hebrew name and stop using Jesus....I am not saying that at all. And I am being very careful about this subject because I do not want to be a part of this Hebrew Roots Movement or the Zionist Movement that insist everything must be Hebrew, which deviates so much from real Hebrew culture during the time of Yeshua. .

We have tried to get the message across that there is no separate Israelite Roots within the ecclesia of Our Lord. On this site, Steven and I have done our very best to show that there is also no separate "Gentile" ecclesia. In other words, the true message of Our Savior is that He came onto the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel Matthew 15:24 and He walked away from Jewry John 7:1, which were those of the Southern House of Judah.

Both parties: Israelite & Gentile, when accepting His gift of Salvation, become part of Yeshua, the Root of our faith and thus are called "Spiritual Israel".

This message is from the Berean Bible Church. Aren't we all told to be like the Berean and search out a matter? Then, why is it when we find "Truths", we get lambasted for bringing it to the fore-front? The Truth is a hard sell.

I am posting this, not because I am saying you must stop calling Him Jesus but because I am no longer going to keep private my own beliefs about His Hebrew name. We pray here at our house using the name of Yeshua HaMaschiac. which means Yeshua, the Christ or Yeshua, the Messiah.

I thank Marsha for this particular video on this subject, well presented, which is not new to Steven nor me, whom have presented similar teaching in the past. At this point in time, so close to His Return, I want to personally make public my own desire to use His Hebrew name so you will see me doing just that in future posts. That is not to say, I won't also use Jesus Christ when I post because it has been a part of this culture in the West since the 1700's so many need clarification.

I would like to add that I had learned some time ago that Yahusha was the name of Our Savior. However, I had stuck with Yeshua. Today's article contributed by Marsha is, once again, a more clear explanation that....

Yahusha is the Name. And the Father's name is Yahuah.
