Two Things

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

THAT is unquestionably a rapture passage. No one can question that and the Pretribbers don’t. Take a look.... isn't it quite clear there are two events taking place?

How can you have a pre-tribulation rapture, if the Resurrection must happen just before (or at the same time) as the Rapture?

The answer is that you can’t. You CANNOT have a pre-tribulation rapture, because the resurrection MUST happen at the same time as the rapture. And… there is only one of them for God’s people.

AGAIN...There Is Only One Resurrection For Those Who Are God’s People.

What is the matter with a person that can't understand this? There has to be some kind of blockade in the brain somewhere. Again, it needs to be understood, "The reason why there cannot be a pre-tribulation rapture is that there is only one resurrection for those who are God’s people. Only one."

So, here is the big question: When does the Lord return and greet His Own in the Air? It is just prior to His setting His Own Feet upon the Mt. Of Olives just as the angels told the disciples that they would see Him return as He had just left.

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

Take a look at this scripture:

Acts 1:2
Until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

Do you notice something about the verse? Jesus Christ, God become man, operated on this earth "through the Holy Spirit". That means we, also, must ask for discernment through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will not teach you truth if you do not seek it. It is like Salvation; it is there but you must ask for it. God does not force feed you. If you are positive that the traditional teaching handed down over the past 100 years from either evil or misguided men is the Truth and have no desire to search out a matter on your own, then you cannot be helped.

Have you ever heard a doctor say to someone, "I can't help you"? It is like a death sentence, isn't it? The Holy Spirit says the same thing if you do not seek His Guidance.

If these words can be twisted to mean something else, it can only mean you are part of the Twisters, Shaker and Movers bringing in the New World Order or you chose to Remain ignorant.

I can say these words because I, also, once believed just like you regarding the pre-tribulation Rapture but thank the Lord, He put a Spirit of Searching His Word for Truth within me or I would still be stuck in Neutral going backwards.
