Strong earthquake 6.2 mag, 64 km ENE of Mutsu, Japan
A earthquake magnitude 6.2 (mg/mb) has struck on Monday, 64 kilometers (40 miles) from Mutsu in Japan. The temblor was reported at 15:01:08 / 3:01 pm (local time epicenter) at a depth of 44.27 km (28 miles). Global time of event 08/06/15 / 2015-06-08 06:01:08 / June 8, 2015 @ 6:01 am UTC/GMT. A tsunami warning has not been issued, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
